USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Started by Newjak438 pages

Are they running around us or are they unable to move?

Xavier would like to make an intimidate roll to try and get the crowd to run from us towards the guards or at least make it harder for the guards to get towards us or fire at us.

My plan was to scream really loud

"RUN!!!"

While using a combat push to shove some of the crowd a bit to get them moving and to see if it will make the crowd fearful enough of us to run towards the guards by showing we have the force, or using crowd behavior get some of them moving in that direction so hopefully all or a lot of them will follow in panic.

Also make it easier for us to move.

Gallador can help Xavier if he likes.

They are scrabbling for the upper exits but it is not easy for any of them. Precise control is impossible, I am afraid; you can only direct them from one location to another and you can't do it whilst running somewhere yourself.

You yourself are better off making Strength rolls than Force- I am doing them for you.

Regardless, a lot of guards are going to fire at you next turn.

dang I thought it would be a neat idea.

In that case Xavier will keep muscling his way forward heading to the quickest path to get his lightsaber.

Edit: Also perhaps the shooting trio of Con, Rura, and J7 could provide some covering fire for us up in the North.

Also here's a question for people do you think with everyone here being pirates would they continue to fight us after their Captain is dead? I know we need to thin the heard some but I would like to try and get this fight with over as soon as possible.

We'll have our own problems once those melee guys arrive. Con will shoot the same Pikemen again.

I am still after the nature of Con and Rah's guns. Also, be careful about being vague about your targets as if I cannot discern a target for you, your attack may be cancelled.

I thought we established early on that Rah's guns were nothing particularly fancy or special about them just good reliable blasters.

Rah keeps firing towards the remaining guards in the south section.

I just need to map them onto the rules for damage/pool bonus purposes- are they pistols? If so, heavy or light?

Rah- you can specify whether your pistol is light or heavy. Light gives you dice bonuses, heavy gives you extra damage. You used a light pistol in your Retro game.

-

Everyone with a gun, shoot north or we're going to have to carry Gallador and Xavier. Con, Rah, looking at you.

Swap IM for GS, Galder is going to drop his electro-mace for now and go down on one knee, snapping out his blaster and firing North at the guards there.

-

Gallador, you have Coordination. Use it!

And should we sweep around East?

Yes, let's sweep east and get closer to Gallador and Xavier. They should not have gone off by themselves and they are now being a hindrance...

And no, Galder. The crowd is too thick at East. I suggest we stay put.

Gallador- you have Coordination. Use it for defense. You could also blow Force points into Guidance to improve your Force roll for pulling your lightsaber to yourself, if you wanted to try that.

Rand will keep directing the crowd down at the advancing soldiers. He notices the staffman coming up and decides to put him in a Grip, to prevent him from reaching the Dark Jedi.

Swap BB for MA, Relle tosses her pistols down and snaps a fierce blow into the stomach of Pikeman C, hoping to bring him down.

Sorry, I missed a step out last turn in the moves of your enemies- the melee attackers by the cases. A disorientated U goes for Dak and misses, but as Dak is stunned he doesn't get the disarm benefit I am afraid. Relle and Rianna took some hits; Dak is the one being hated on as he is then followed and attacked by another (ex)Pikeman and an irritated Staffman.. Ex-pike can only manage one damage on him, but the Power-Attacking Staffman gets 5. Those staff guys are damn dangerous, Dak!

The above has been updated.

You'll be defenceless against those gunners, Relle. Did you not want your sabre?

Do heavy pistols have any advantages in killing mooks?

And Con will, under protest, follow Galder's advice and shoot instead two of the guards in the upper north with, probably, his light pistol.

Ok Xavier is not going to move up if Gallador is in danger and not moving. He will use Coordination to make himself hard to hit.

Also this is for Con.

*puts on best William Shattner voice*

"COOOOOOOONNNNNNN!... you had better help us"

Yes, though against supermooks like those melee guys that's just down to their higher damage.

Okay, Con will use light pistols, I intended for the pistols to be used against weaker mooks, since (usually) we do have lightsabres.

And will just repost this, cause I edited while you guys posted:

Con will target two of the guards in the upper north, to help his best friend Gallador, and incidentally the stupid Xavier.

Also, guys? Please don't split up anymore. Splitting up in situations like this is bad. Doesn't anyone else remember Ares and the spiders? 😛

Hell, doesn't anyone remember every movie ever?

Well Xavier, at least, knows how to keep a low profile in a combat situation and he is also a tough bastard.

As he should be, the amount of times he's been shot and stabbed and eaten.

Yeah good times and great memories.

Also is there anyway Xavier could try and blend into the crowd he is strong enough to bully himself around in it and use it for cover. Could he also bring Gallador along for the ride until we need to break off from them?
