Rand is not at all sure what to make of things, and so suffices to plant himself in his comfortable, high-backed, evil-mastermind drinking chair. He helps himself to the bottle that Ascar was sipping from, pouring a glass tiredly.

"What is going on?" Rand asks, taking a sip.

"Well, to be fair... oh," says Ascar, as if remembering something. He lowers his right hand, and Adelmo's dying followers are able to breathe again.

The Seer seems ok.

"To be fair, I was actually hoping to find Adelmo here. Seems I came at the right time."

"What the hell do you want with Adelmo?" Dak asks. He would be ready for fighting but his body still aches, and he is too exhausted to even think about attacking Ascar.

"I'll give you whatever you need!" says Adelmo. "Strike him down!"

"Why, I came here to plead with her," says Ascar.

"Yes, you certainly look like you're pleading," Dak comments, irritated. "Stop mincing words and just... out with it."

This is very tiring

"I agree for once can't we just sit down and have a nice talk without murdering each other."

"Would someone just get to the damn point?!" Rianna says, getting rather irritated with this whole situation and wanting at least one straight answer for once.

"Adelmo's activities are destroying priceless cultural sites throughout the Republic. Her myopic quest is eradicating irreplaceable heritage and history. It must stop. I thought someone should put a historian;s case to her."

"Is THAT what she's been doing..." Rand says, sipping more wine. "Where exactly has that happened, my dear Ascar? She hasn't been very forthcoming with us about her own activities, though she has been VERY involved in ours..."

Rand sips his wine more fully, finishes the glass, and pours another.

Xavier sure the Seer is ok now goes and joins the rest and sits down.

"well that sounds very noble of you," Xavier says.

Dak rubs his forehead, growling softly at this answer. "What exactly has she been doing, then?"

Adelmo has been sending agents out to pillage ancestral sites- normally in some way related to the Sith- and then utterly destroying them afterwards to leave no trace. The Republic is quite vexed."

Xavier clutches his leans on his hand while holding Rivas' staff.

"And why do you want her to stop, so you have a chance to look at them to?"

"Oh really..." He studies Adelmo. "What's she taking?"

"As is the Jedi Order, I'm sure," Galder says, with a sour look on his face.

"Who cares how vexed the Republic might be?"

"We do," Rand answers Rianna. "Because if the Republic is vexed, then they've likely called in the Jedi to investigate, and if they are trying to find Adelmo... it is VERY possible that they'll find US.

"Though Ascar seems to have done that already."

"Well, who can tell what she is taking? That is why she destroys the sites afterwards. But whatever it is, it must not go on.

"But I fear it is my fault that things turned sour. I tried to dissuade her on grounds of danger, so I told her something I recently heard. You see, it seems the Jedi managed to detain Kara Katai..."

"That's... not great," Galder says.

"No it isn't," Xavier echoes Galder's sentiment.
