"We're also well outside of the Republic, that's part of why we're here," Rianna replies to Rand.

"That, however, is quite bad...she knows where Epireus is."

Dak's eyes widen when he realizes what that means.

"The Bureau can't track us out here," Rand says. "But if they already know where they are, I doubt they'll care terribly much about spacial boundaries..."

"Of course, it strikes me that without Katai to do her work, Adelmo here will need to rely more on other agents to get her jobs done for her. Well, I am sure she has built up a healthy working relationship with you all, hmm?"

Xavier turns to Adelmo, "So were you going to tell us that one of your agents who happen to know our base's location was caught?"

"No wonder you wanted us to kill him, Adelmo..." Dak says.

"Not exactly," Rand says. "We're her blunt tools, more or less. And we are NOT happy about it."

Rianna's holding back a laugh at the phrase "healthy working relationship".

"Oh, perhaps I sense some tension..."

"Katai will avail them nothing!" declares Adelmo. "She will not talk!"

"No indeed, she won;t say anything as such," says Ascar. "Galder and the others can rest easy. Oh... though now I think about it, Adelmo... the last I saw of the Jedi team investigating you, they were heading off towards your homeworld Thalos... they asked me for a few pointers, you see."

"Traitor!" yells out Adelmo.

"Not at all. Just doing my part as a concerned citizen."

"There is some tension yes," Xavier says before continuing. "What is your angle in all this though?"

"You've lost us our planet, Adelmo! Why should we trust that your lackey won't bargain away our location? You certainly would betray us in an instant..."

He looks back at Ascar. "As for you... how gracious of you to warn us. Why?"

"Jedi team?" Galder asks. "Anyone I'd remember?"

"Jedi? Great...they'd better not find us..."

Azarl was completely mesmerized by Ascar's display of power and exertion of pure will. Azarl views the Force as simply being the efforts of powerful minds, and is drawn to Ascar's wit and intelligence and power.

"How did you do that?" Azarl says, ignoring everything else.

""Can't a man make new friends and acquaintances?" says Ascar. "So Adelmo, I am very much afraid the Jedi will have learned all about that nasty little war you loat back on Thalos, and how you neded up out and about in the galaxy..."

"And did you happen to mention to the Jedi YOUR PART in starting that war? It was you who came to ME, decades ago!"

""Oh, I did not bother them with that part," says Ascar. "And if I know anything about your world, they'll be very cagey about my involvement. The idea that a mere man caused so much trouble to their precious deliberative is something they all want to forget..."

"Yeah it probably doesn't hurt that you help undermine the Lady, and possibly get a few favors in return while doing so right?"

Galder is thoroughly confused at this point.

"What are you even TALKING about?" Galder asks.

Dak nods. "What is going on now?"

"Oh, Adelmo here likes to maintain a certain mystery- but I know all about her an where she comes from. I was the one that guided her..."

"You LIE! I learned of the galaxy from you, but my powers are my own!"

"And yet you are powerless against me, aren't you?" says Ascar. "And I bet that's made some of these people curious..."

"Adelmo learned from you?" Dak asks incredulously.
