He intends to crash land the speeder as close as he can to the tax collector, in the crowd, once it gets shot up. But because Azarl's camper is such a piece of crap, he is going to fly evasively for as long as he can so that Azarl is not immediately blown up upon arrival.

What if Xavier holds it steady and Con gets out and Con then uses the lifting to keep it steady so Xavier can get out? Or is there a way to keep it steady and exit? Either way, Con will try to get out.

Maybe Spidey's should attack right now, before all the guards are there?

Lifting is a careful and precise power that requires absolute concentration. As you will be a. falling and then b. being shot to pieces, that's not a chance you have.

Next on my list, actually... but no, Galder's only got Favorite Ride (and this is most certainly not his favorite).

Ok, so, this turn- Con is bailing, Galder is coming in for a crash landing, Xavier is holding the dying vehicle steady, and Azarl's vehicle is still a turn away.

Maybe the Psychos should attack now, we are almost all there and we don't want Azarl to be shot down right away so maybe some confusion on their part could help.
