USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

I called it dozens.

Oh okay, well I think we should follow Gallador's lead, although his smugness makes Con want to smack him. So Con will put his weapon to the ground.

Rand steps up with Gallador, intending to offer his social prowess to the situation as well. He thinks for a moment that it would have been more convincing if some of them were actually wounded, rather than bristling for a fight.

"Indeed," Rand says, "even ones as powerful as us cannot keep fighting for too long, and you have gathered quite a force here! Yes, we will surrender, but only if you take us to Emperor Rivas himself."

Rianna is not terribly inclined to simply surrender...and I'm sure she's not the only one that feels that way 😛

She can comfort herself in knowing that likely there is more killing to be had on Datura.

Galder waits to see what the guards say to Rand and Gallador. He tries to appear defeated, but finds it difficult to conceal the fact that he's bristling for more fighting and ready to use that assault rifle of his.

Don't think that helps much. It's more the fact that, despite knowing that they have to do it and it's part of the plan, giving up and surrendering is absolutely against her nature 😛

Well Con's pretty beat up anyways. I think he can pull off not wanting to fight.

Galder notices Rianna bristling to fight, just like he is.

"Don't get us killed," Galder mutters, trying to speak as if he too is impressed with the force assembled against them. He sees that some of it is true; there are a lot of enforcers now. He thinks that he could make it through, but not everyone. Overall, he wants to get to Datura worse than anyone here. "There're too many of 'em."

"Like that worries me..." Rianna mutters to Galder, glaring at the guards in front of them.

Hey, at the least, this'll make things look more convincing 😛

"It should," Galder snarls.

"Well, it doesn't," Rianna snaps back.

"Hey, if you want to get yourselves killed, go ahead. But let the rest of us live, idiots."

Rand casts a glance back at the bickering Psychos and fights back a smile.

Since Rianna thinks that Rand probably wants or expects them to start a fight (and hence get themselves killed), that's reason enough for her to stop her arguing with Galder and back down...though she's still angry about this and wanting to fight.

"Oh, you'll go to the Emperor," says one of the guards. "Just as soon as you all drop your weapons..."

"Drop our weapons... right... and we should do that why, again?"

"Else we will kill you."

"Ah. Right." Dak growls, reluctant to give up his sabers even if it is necessary for the plan.

"More tempted to drop them into their backs..." Rianna says quietly to Dak, probably wanting to give up her lightsabers even less than he does. "Wonder if that would satisfy them."
