USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Started by REXXXX438 pages

You never know with these games...

"You'll find I'm full of surprises," Galder says, but he withdraws, realizing that he won't be of much use to anyone on Datura if the guards beat him senseless before they get there. He decides to keep his mouth shut, though he goes back to looking at Kuylen's lightsaber.

I think you guys might be getting the psychology a bit off with Rivas again... what is he going to do if you guys make out he should hold onto you?

We should play it up that we'd rather go with the Republic because we're afraid of what he'll do to us or what will happen to us on Datura.

Galder will keep quiet.

Redoing my post then...

Rand will use Scan on Emperor Rivas (who I believe you described as Donald Pleasence?) to see what his emotional response is to what Sri S'Nar says.

"Merciful Emperor, let us go with the Republic representatives," Rand says, trying to appear afraid or give off the impression that he is. "I, for one, have no desire to see what you have in mind for a slow and painful death!"

"The Republic would be willing to compensate you most handsomely for your generosity," says Sri.

Rivas looks thoughtful.

So what I gathered so far from Rivas is that he is the type of guy who seems to love a challenge and showing off his superiority. Hence why he broadcasts that he beat Kuylen, why he chooses melee.

How right am I ush?

Pretty much!

So perhaps it would be better to challenge his ability to keep us prisoner

Good Lord, this is a dangerous amount of thinking...

(suspicious)

Xavier, who has remained quiet, looks away from Rogan and to Rivas.

"You know it is probably a very good idea for you to turn us over. If we can evade and escape the...vaaast resources of the Republic what chance do you have of holding us," Xavier says with a hint of slyness in his voice.

Rivas smirks.

"Rewards I don't need- riches I have in plenty. Pride and glory I need, and as MY defeated foes, not yours, do these people give me that."

"As you wish," says Sri, quietly.

"Let me fight one of them," speaks up Rogan for the first time. "For your... amusement."

"The Guildmaster`s pride must suffer greatly, as was not the one that caught us, even though his hunt lasted for years. If he could have his duel then Rogan could say that he was the one who killed..... let`s say Galder- who is our greatest warrior, rather than let you have the glory for yourself, Your Majesty.... " Comments Gallador slyly.

""Though death in a duel is surely more honorable and less painful that whatever Your Majesty has in store for us.... I would not mind it very much, Your Majesty."

"Not you," says Rogan. "One of the ones that can fight..."

Galder perks up at this. After having the audience laugh at his inability to fight, he sees an opportunity to redeem himself.

"I'll fight," Galder volunteers.

"Not you," says Rogan. "One of the ones that can fight..."

"Oh, I am sure you would like to have a worthy duel, propably against Galder here, one of the most famous warriors of the galaxy for years, one that killed Yago of the Golden Serpent.

You hunted us for years, and claim to be the greatest hunter of your people. And what happens? You come to the same world as we are, by coincidence, and it is not you but Emperor Rivas`s men that captured us. So now you want this duel so you can have some of the glory that Rivas gained?"

Gallador speaks aloud, mocking Rogan. He wants to appeal to pride of Rivas so he does not let Rogan steal his glory.

Duel is bad idea, I believe it would be to death?

Galder thinks it might be a bad idea as well but also likes the idea of getting a chance to defeat Rogan in single combat before they are sent to Datura.

"No," says Rivas. "Amusing, but no. I don't want my prizes damaged."

"They would not look damaged..." says Rogan. But Rivas shakes his head.

"Stop being suicidal," Rand snarls at Galder. "We're in no state to be fighting anyone at this moment, no matter how much all of us would like to see you relieve Rogan's shoulder of its fat, piggish head."

Rand looks to Rogan.

"I would almost rather feel the sting of your neurowhip than whatever we are going to endure," Rand says. "But preferably not before we do such."

Is it smart to say we know that we will get sent to Datura? Rivas didn't mention it yet did he?

Well, it being a prison planet, it's probably pretty common knowledge that's where people get sent?

Rianna simply glares at Rogan, wishing for a chance to murder him. Since, after all, she's still killed the most Osokans of everyone here 😛
