New New Avengers (Post Siege)

First in a line up for a New New Avengers book, starts again from issue one.

Bendis writing and Immonen on art.

So, if I got my info right, there will be the Avengers team, the Secret Avengers, and the New Avengers?

Damn, I thought the core Avengers team would do away with the need for multiple Avenger franchises.

And I believe Avengers: Academy too.

i really can't get past jrjr's art these days. no matter how he does it, it still just looks really old and outdated, and just not to my tastes.

I thought Luke Cage was supposed to be leading the new Thunderbolts...? 😕

Is he becoming the new Wolverine, getting multiple team memberships?
Are the benefit plans that good?

I think there one in the same to be honest.

looks like immonen thought he was drawing the absorbing man at first, and the inker/colorist drew in a goatee and got rid of the ball.

The same person rarely does both cover and interior art. I think everyone's being a bit presumptive atm about the artwork.

I will be buying this

yep...I'd rather have a single core book with a core team...
now it's gonna be frustrating with all those titles again:

mighty avenger -> avengers
new avengers -> new avengers
dark avengers -> secret avengers
avengers initiative -> avengers academy

too much...

New Avengers is by far my favorite Avengers.

I'm a little confused as to how all the teams will work, but we're not actually supposed to know yet.

I'm going to do the sensible thing and reserve judgement.

Bendis doing two Avengers books and Immonen being on one of them works for me, though.

Still, Secret Avengers is what I'm waiting for the most.

Spider-man, Wolverine, Luke cage on the same team = win.

Really? I thought his art in Kick Ass was awesome ✅

I'm quite glad of this reveal, he fits NA far better than any other team.

👆

Ok so I guess the main idea would be something like:
one team for major global/ET/cosmic threats = Avengers (like the old times)
one team for "street level"/organized crime threats = new avengers
one training facility team = Avengers Academy

and I have no clue about Secret Avenges' "profile"

just my thoughts

Maybe Secret Avengers will be a somewhat proactive team.

Whereas generally, the Avengers will react to big threats as they happen, maybe Secret Avengers will be made to take out threats before they can do anything majorly dangerous, thus their 'Secret' nature.

Basically Spec' Ops Avengers.

On another note, I really hope Taskmaster is still involved in Avengers Academy...

secret avengers will prob do the dirty politically sensitive deeds whereas Avengers do the heroic stuff
