Make-a-lantern!

Jus for fun lets say after all this blackest nights stuff has ended its left the emotional spectrum in complete disarray. The guardians have came to us to reconstruct a new spectrum to help bring back some form of balance to their universe.

We need all ranges of the spectrum from good to bad and light to dark but try to use a new set of colors, powers and sources to empower them. Atleast until all colors have been tried to be used atleast once.

Ok, first shot!

Silver, Arrogance - Granted to the most arrogant of beings. Makes beings as powerful as they believe themselves to be. Power weakens as wielders are shown inferior.

Despair- Granted to a person who believes everything is wrong in the universe which must be corrected. Their power increases with more how much despair they feel towards others and themselves. Power weakness is hope.

Isn't that kinda the black ring?

Rainbow- Comprised of the ROYGBIV colors of a rainbow. Has all the powers of all Lantern colors to have ever existed, including the Black Lanterns.

Weaknesses: Superman, Power Rangers.

Gold, Humility Granted to the most humble of beings it endows them with all the strength others believe they deserve and abilities they hope for them to obtain. Powers diminish with others faith in the wielder.

Brown, Trust. Given to the most trusting or trusted of people. Makes wielder completely invulnerable and impervious to harm. Loss in powers result from breaking trust.

Teal, Sadness Grants wielders the ability to bring great despair to those around you resulting in loss of ambition, trust and will to continue.

Ambition, Pink Inspires those around to push themselves, achieve more and desire the pursuit of that which they deserve

The problem is that the theme of the Corps is that all the colors of the Rainbow have been used up. The two major emotions they didn't use (not that Will is an emotion per se) are joy/happiness/ecstasy and sadness/melancholy/sorrow.

i don't really understand how this is different from the blue lanterns. "all will be well," and all that.
