Most Disappointing Films?

Battle Los Angeles: Waste of film if you ask me. Cliches, stereotypes, bravado, & michelle rodriguez make up this movie. Indescernable to every friggin alien invasion movie out there, only nothing much happens. When something does happen, you have probably seen it all before and done better a thousand times over.

The Hangover: I wanted to see this movie like crazy because of all the hype. Overly hyped for no reason. The 80s did these types of movies to death. Yawn...

The Day The Earth Stood Still: I think meh sums this one up.

Beastly: the purest of crap that anyone could be subjected to.

Insidious: starts out interesting although it comes off like Paranormal Activity. It descends to overexplaining everything and coming up with a lame plot device to bring the kid back. Darth Maul making an appearance did not help either. Still... it made millions.

I thought Death Proof was excellent, but the set up was a little odd. I expected the entire two hours to be about the first group of girls but when they died that sort of slammed the movie to a halt and then started off in a different direction, it was like a really long intro, haha, but I still enjoyed it when I was finished with it.
yes about the long intro. i actually liked it though
especially the lap dance, car crash replay scene

the second half was just a completely different movie the visual effects & everything changed.

no stuntman mike in the backgrounds, no lap dances, nothing.
just women talking forever on end about... whatever.
alot of the time i was expecting some cinematic crash coming in the middle of their conversation 😬 .
but nope killer shows up & dies.
the End.

man, was i mad 😂

I have to agree that the second half of Death Proof was excruciatingly boring.

.

.

Pathfinder was really... bad. And here I was expecting a super showdown between indians and vikings.

Green hornet was annoying.

Oh and I was very much let down by The Village. Not that it was a bad movie... except that it was marketed as a thriller type movie, so I went to the movie expecting to get scared only to have dark drama.

i agree with pathfinder lol

id also like to add Black death what a piece of shit

I was really disappointed with X-Men 3. That was one of the most note-worthy for me

Annoying & unlikeable heroes with no self redeeming features...

Who the hell convinced Seth Rogen that he was both a funny & talented actor?

I watched The Village for the 1st time the other week & enjoyed it.

I already knew what the "twist" was before hand,so I wasn't disappointed & didn't fall for the "thriller" marketing hype when it was originally released.

The Village
The Mechanic
*definitely* The Expendables

I was pretty dissapointed by 2012 and The Day After Tomorrow

dumbest movie in the last year goes to "The Hangover 2"

Most the people i saw at the showings were drunk teenagers, most adults i talked to didnt care for it, like the first. Wanna see a funny movie go to "Bad Teacher" haha.

Honestly, that movie broke my heart a bit. I was beyond certain that it was going to be one of the best movies humanly possible.
"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" really disappointed me after I had so, so much excitement over Galactus finally coming to the big screen.
"Hellboy: The Golden Army" wasn't anywhere near as memorable as I hoped it to be. It felt almost like Guillermo forgot what the characters were like in the first movie.
"Super 8" was a very mediocre movie, and sadly I went in thinking that it was going to be another mind blowing experience masterminded by JJ Abrams.
The "Matrix" sequels are no brainers.
The first "Hulk" film gave me joy when I first saw it, but then I made the mistake of re-watching it.
"Clash of the Titans" was a movie I thought was going to be an ass-kicking good time, and while I definitely had fun with my friends, the movie itself was just... kind of there.
"Iron Man 2," again, was fun with friends, but the movie itself was made of missed opportunities.
"Predators" was no where near as epic as I had expected it to be. When the trailer is lying to you, there's a problem. To be honest, I preferred "Predator 2."
I was really excited for "Transformers 2." The first "Transformers" was one of my most anticipated movies of all time, but it delivered fairly well. 2? Great example of why 95% of everything Bay does makes me want to set myself on fire.

Very much agree and out of those I was severely disappointed with Predators. It had a great premise but was flat to me and disjointed, especially with the old music stitched on it in some places but not others. The changes in effects for the Preds' invisibilty/weapons/vision killed the continuity also. Predator 2 is severely underrated and was a logical step really as in moving a Pred to an urban environment, it has always been a favourite of mine.

Bayformers
Bayformers 2: Revenge of the fallen
Bayformers 3: Dark of the moon

Indiana Jones and the extremely disappointing kingdom of the yawnsome Crystal skull

(Another vote for) Death Proof
Inglorious Basterds
(another vote for) Predators
