@Omega,Is that what they were going for in 1-2? That would explain a lot, but I can't believe Thor would even be weakend by that attack. What ever makes the plot work I guess.

what is anticipated that will happen? like will he fight odin or galactus or something?

Has Void/Sentry even met the Surfer yet? And I wonder (again) why Marvel decided that Void/Sentry fight Thor before fighting Surfer (IF that ever even occurs).
Originally posted by kgkgIndeed that would seem the most "logical" reason. But in reality, Marvel can conjure up whatever nonsense it wants to have characters fight. If they wanted Void to fight the Surfer, there'd be a "reason" to have Surfer come to Earth.
Marvel decided that Void would fight Thor because Thor is on earth while Surfer is hunting planets for Galactus.

I have a bad feeling that the Sentry will die trying to rid himself of the Void or its going to be something big from Asgard that takes him down or causes him to disappear.Regardless, if Marvels gets rid of Sentry, they'll get rid of me too.
Originally posted by ParmaniacA common suspense builder in stories is to increase the level of difficulty a character has to go through with successive tasks. Thor before Surfer could (but not necessarily) suggest that any Void-Surfer battle would be more epic: fighting the Surfer would be tougher for the Void than fighting Thor...which wouldn't make sense being that Marvel seems to regard Thor as Surfer's superior in terms of overall power (unless that's changed).
Why does it wonders you at all that Sentry fights Thor before he fights Surfer (if ever)?
Again, no hard-n-fast rules here. Just speculating/wondering what may be coming down the tubes.
