STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- The White Tower of Halloy

Nope! You will never sense her specifically with so many people about unless she is a room away. As it is, your senses feel dull.

The lift takes you toward the top of the tower again, but not the very top. It opens upon a small lobby. The soldiers there do not stop Tull as he strides out of the lift toward the room beyond; nor do they stop you.

What are they armed with? And I will keep pace with Tull.

They are the Knights of the White Tower and they have standard stun rifles.

"I was of course referring to the first time I was arrested by your guards and left out in the desert, a girl was with me, her name was Enah." I will describe her.

"I know of which time you meant," Tull snaps, quite unexpectedly. "There was no girl. Now, bite your tongue, we are in the presence of the King..."

For the room beyond the lobby is indeed the King's court! There is a gaggle of people around the outside of the room, with the King on the far side, seated upon his throne. He looks... bored, slouched on one side of his chair. He does not dress in kingly attire- instead, a simple leather tunic and a pair of spacer's boots. He has a utility belt strapped about his waist, and a holstered pistol strapped to that. He looks like Eric Bana.

"Who do you bring before me?" King Evand asks, gesturing to you.

"A Jedi Knight, your Highness," Tull explains, also gesturing to you.

There is whispered, excited chattering amongst the 'nobles.'

Denzral will bow humbly, and lower his head. "Greetings."

"What is a Jedi doing on Halloy?" King Evand asks curiously, having leaned forward on his throne.

"I am conducting an investigation..." Denzral will proceed to explain the main reason he is there, about the raids on Darrta and other worlds and the whole incident with the Raider shouting The cult of Necros. But I'll say nothing about my masters assassination.

You tell your tale. The King just nods while you talk and does not interject. When you are done, he is still nodding.

"The Cult of Necros?" King Evand asks. "I... uh... Tull, what's he talking about?"

"He is trailing a criminal element, more or less," Tull says. "I am unaware of what the Cult of Necros is, though perhaps we should be made aware?"

Denzral will explain what he knows of them.

You're telling them that the Cult of Necros was a group of cultish slavers led by the Sith Lord Necros?

Yes

King Evand takes poorly to this.

"You say that you have come to Halloy looking for slavers? How does this relate to the raiders that you vanquished at Dartta?"

"I have scans of the ship they used, the Raiders who attacked Darrta. It is stored in my astromech." Denzral looks for him.

Soapy beeps and boodles from the side of the room, rolling to the front of the crowd. He has been cleaned and polished. He beeps an excited greeting (you think).

"What ship is this?" King Evand asks.

Should I be suspicious?

"Soapy!" Denzral calls and takes out a datapad to translate what the droid said as casually as possible so as to not arouse suspicion, "can you roll over here, and display the Raider's ship for me?" I will keep my enotions even and calm.

That is up to you.

Soapy rolls over to you amiably and activates his holoprojector as asked, displaying the Raiders' vessel as a crackling blue hologram. The people around the sides of the room continue to gossip as the King examines the hologram from his throne. Tull is smiling.

"As you can see, the ship being displayed came from here, in fact I have already identified the hanger it is in." Do I get my translation of what the droid said initially?

It is a Language + Intelligence roll to understand astromech-speak. He just said "Hello" initially. Nothing notable.

Evand seems angered by what you say, getting up from his throne and hand falling to his pistol.

"How dare you come to my planet and accuse my citizens of supporting raiders!" Evand shouts. "These are blasphemous LIES from the Republic. What proof do you have that this ship came from here?"

In answer, Soapy zooms in on the White Tower's sigul painted on the ship's hull. The whispers of the court become decidedly more heated.

"Photomanipulation!" Evand proclaims. "This is not proof!"

"I apologize, Master Jedi, but where do you think this ship is?" Tull asks.

"It was in a high security hanger, I was investigating it, but it is probably not there now, no one would be foolish enough to keep it there, especially after a Jedi has turned up on the planet investigating it. Tull, you can you not sense if I am lying or not?"
