Tull's smile falters for a moment.

"You have a calm mind, Denzral," he says. "It is hard to sense."

(You have Inner Calm. It makes you hard to sense and raises your Willpower by +1.)

"But I trust your honesty as a Knight," Tull continues. "Surely there must be some misunderstanding."

"He was sleuthing about my private hangars!" King Evand shouts. "Those are MY high security hangars! How did you even get in there?"

Denzral will say nothing initially, ignoring the King. "Tull, do you recognise the ship? King;" he'll address, "I found the need for secrecy in my investigation prudent, as I was not sure who I could trust on this planet for help. I still do not, no offence was intended I assure you. Please, remain calm."

That will be Persuade + Charisma to put King Evand at ease. Going for it?

Tull denies having seen the vessel.

Sure.

I'll try it.

By the way can I sense Enah yet?

Nope. In fact, you cannot sense much of anything.

The King stands up from his throne and steps down from the slightly raised area it sits upon. A hush falls over the court as he steps toward you, looking you over.

"Are you aware of Halloy's past?" Evand asks you, one hand on the butt of his pistol.

"Although my information is not exact, yes, I believe so. But if you would care to enlighten me, please..."

"Don't patronize me, Jedi," the King says. "So you know we were once slavers. I am sure the insolence of this 'coincidence' that your hunt for raiders has brought you here is not lost on you."

Tull watches you keenly with the rest of the court.

"I understand where you are coming from, and not it is not lost on me. But these Raider's have attacked many Republic worlds, all within reach of Holloy, my R4 unit can show you the map if you like. What brought me here; before I found out about Halloy's past in slavery, was the symbol of the White tower on the front of the ship that raided Darrta." Denzral will place a hand on Soapy's domed head. Something is blocking his senses, and he wanted to know what. The Dark Side? Something Dark was here, he wasn't sure what. Tull was a slippery one, it put him on edge.

King Evand seems frustrated by your returning to that symbol- HIS symbol- emblazoned along the side of the starship. He starts to say something when Tull cuts him off.

"Mayhaps we can show the Jedi the error of his ways?" Tull asks. "Surely there is no connection between our planet and these raiders. Let that be so, and let the Jedi see it."

King Evand nods, considering this.

Denzral remains silent.

After a tense moment of deliberation, the King opens his arms outward.

"Alright," he says. "Master Jedi, we will play your host, only to show you that Halloy has no connection to these raiders. I will assist you in any way that I can until you are satisfied that you will find nothing."

"Very well." Denzral will nod.

With that, the King returns to his throne, and the crowd starts up their chattering again in a wide variety of languages. Minstrels beginn piping out tunes to one side, and Tull watches you with that smile that never left his face- faltered, but never left.

I'll try a read Tull again...

"That went almost as well as I expected." Denz'll say to Soapy. "You okay buddy?" he'll then turn and approach Tull. "Could have went better, but I understood why he didn't believe me. I want to find out about the girl I was captured with, Tull. I did not imagine her. So don't play me as a fool."

Good morning, Rexx.

Nothing. His mind clouds your own when you try to read it.

"I insist that I have no idea what woman you speak of," Tull says, raising his hands in a submissive manner. "But I believe that you did not merely dream her up. Perhaps she escaped, whoever she is?"

"Her name is Enah." Denzral will say, then wave the conversation away. "So what kind of help in disproving Halloy's involvement will I receive?"

"Whatever you require," Tull says. "I will see to it personally. You only needed the King to condone such a course. He wears the crown, I assist him in using its power."

Indeed, there is a silvery circlet that goes around the back of King Evand's head and sprouts into curling leaves above his ears. You didn't see it when the King was looking at you head on. Now he is chatting it up with a few people and you see it well.

"I'll require another look at the ships bay," Denzral says to Tull. "A closer look perhaps without distraction."

"It can be arranged," Tull says. "I will even pull up the flight records for the starport, including the King's private records. We can go..."

There is a tap on his shoulder. Behind him is a thin but well-built man, wearing what you can assume is the out-of-armor uniform of a Halloyan soldier. He doesn't look at you.

"What is it?" Tull asks.

"It is done," the man says.

"Thank you, Crutch," Tull says. The man turns to leave. "Sorry, Denzral, where were we... ah yes, the starport. Did you have a specific area in mind?"
