Get real. Let's look at recent Supes titles. Defeats Kandorians, defeats a kryptonian demon empowered by other kryptonian demon lords, defeats Arion (a powerful Atlantian soceror), defeats Atlas, defeats Subject 17, defeats a kryptonian dreadnought empowered with kryptonite, defeats Braniac, defeats Ultraman and Super Woman etc etc.
As I said, pick up an Action Comics or Superman and he's defeating some top tier in some way or other.
the one fight supes had with black adam, adam was holding back and supes was not so cut the crap. By the end of the fight supes outfit was torn to crap and ba was just mellowing out. cap has smoked supes on other ocasions also. This team has a chance against thanos, but to think that supes can dominate beings better then thanos is RETARDED. Thanos>despero and he manhandled supes captian marvel ww and others at the same time. If despero can do it thanos can np.
Not taking nothing away from the team but this is a hard fight for both sides.

Billy was older also so mabey this had some effect on his good showings against supes. Older and stronger. Supes held back a bit. Billy wasnt going all out but he was not holding back as much as supes though.
