I'm fine with the drafting method, and here's why:The whole we've seen the others' drafts, yes, but there have been many teams involved. We couldn't pick just to counter a specific team, we had to build a rounded team for ourselves against any opponent. But with the finals, it would be drafting specifically against someone else's picks, and would take away the need for a "good team" and just turn it into who blinks last with counter-picks.
Of course, I'm against re-drafting in general and was under the impression that we had done our last redrafts. The round-robin-to-playoffs draft was in place from the beginning of the tourney. This was not, and was announced today. I understand it's "more fun" for some, though you'd get a good match either way, I just think it seems awfully spur of the moment compared to the deliberate decisions of the rest of the tourney. I also have the team I want and loathe having to redraft for fear of being countered. I'll put the work in to be happy with a new team, but would've preferred not to have to.
yeah, true that it was announced today. i'd thought i'd mentioned the possibility in the past, but maybe not. i'd always had it in my HEAD, but guess i didn't put it on paper.
i'd like to give the option of a redraft here as well to avoid a possible rehashing of your earlier match. if you are strongly opposed, perhaps we could allow a SINGLE character to be switched, or find some other way to decide the issue?
