also, you know how powerful and rich lex luthor is? he can't just hire someone with super smell if it were that easy to figure out who batman is?

I'm not saying Sabes couldn't do it BUT let me put some stuff in Bats favor:

Batman hides in the Batcave, I'm not 100% sure how it is nowadays but at a certain time there was a damn long (protected) way to the batcave so Sabes could loose his scent there before he gets close the the actual batcave or Wayne manor and if he gets acces to the way he would be most likely ****ed by Batmans cave security systems.

Another thing is, Supes once was unable to detect Batman in the same room, just for the memory, Superman can detect beings by heartbeat, maybe it was PIS maybe not.

But again I'm not saying Sabes couldn't track him.

being rich and being a trackor and having powers are not the same thing. also sabre-tooth is no were near as wealthy but he is extremely loaded as well.

who in DC universes could luthor higher that has sabre-toooth level of tracking skill and supersenses? how about no one. I mean do you even undersatnd how good of a tracker sabre-tooth is?

this did happen once, and would be pis given supermans level of senses, but to be honest his senses tend to be ignored a lot. In my opinion I think sneaking up on DD is more impressive then superman simply becuase DD super senses are the focus of his powers while supermans is more of an after thought. There was no real explantion for how batman did it and if I remeber correctly it was more or less that the writer simply forgot or ignored the fact he has super senses, becuase they were never even mentioned.
