Gears of War 3 Writer Avoids Playing Games
This is my Rifle is one of my most favorite Gears events of all time because I really like how I'm no longer held down by the shackles of the stupidly overpowered shotguns that everyone keeps on using. Keep it Epic, KEEP IT! Don't take me back to the dark ages, I beg of you! Keep it in your matchmaking list from now on!
It does explain it in this instance. Karen traviss is notorious for not giving a shit about established continuity in stories she writes. You can't just waltz in to a storyline that's already 2/3rds over and start making your own big decisions. Granted, you don't need to play a video game to understand know it storyline, however not playing the game is typical of Traviss' tendency to not give a shit about the work that proceeded hers. The game's storyline suffered because of this.

Same here.
So far, my favorite map has to be Bullet Marsh. I love the environmental kills in it even though it does have it's down side when your teammates are in areas where the lights that keep the Kryll at bay go out once you shoot the generator.
My sport was continuously freezing from the first day during my own 120GB elite so I tried it in my brother's xbox (additionally an elite 120GB but younger compared to mine).
This worked great in my brother's xbox and so i persuaded him to swap this with me till I can get a slender (that we had been intending to buy anyhow).
After that these days (still on brother's xbox 360) the sport simply gets frozen anytime I key in Group when the countdown goes to Zero. Freezes continuously within marketing campaign, gets frozen after Just a few seconds in beast setting. An internet-based just does not begin matches as well as forces me to turn off the xbox (giving us a quitting fee).
It had been operating fine before then today it does not work at just about all. I'm able to load the sport and obtain towards the menu however when I try and perform anything (ie. if this lots in the sport setting). Possibly locks up on launching displays or gets frozen suddenly throughout game play.
I've done a lot of research (mostly on epic games forums) into this particular freezing problem and it seems to be more prevalent in the Whitened xboxes and Top notch xboxes. Few people with thins tend to be confirming very cold issues but majority tend to be more mature xbox design owners.
I attempted installing but I cannot get the disk to install unlike you, I usually get failure from 26% because "disc is dirty".
Unfortunately if you try as well as set up the disc for your hard drive on an additional xbox360 then transfer your hard drive to your own xbox360. Your xbox360 will not let you trunk through hard drive since you need to install this on Which xbox360 console so that you can get it done! Some people possess suggested to test which but it Fails.

You don't think CliffyB and co. didn't sign off on the story?
I'm pretty sure the lead designer ok'ed the story. The funny thing is that pages back, I remember people praising the story in the game when it was first released.

What does Epic paying Karen Traviss to write the story have to do with its quality?

You shouldn't have to read other media to get a game's storyline though. Those thing should add to the overall story but not be essential in getting the full feel of the game's own.
