Pokemon Black and White

They ruined the fire starters after Cydiquil. Seriously a Chicken and a ****ing Gorilla. Fire Starters should always be reptiles.

I like Blaziken. Though Torchic and Combusken I hate. Course I don't like Quilava or Typloshon much either.
Actually...I think only Charmander is the only starter I like all forms of. XD

1) Mammals are superior to Reptiles, sir. Therefore it follows that Infernape > Charizard.

2) I don't know if Salamanders qualify as reptiles. I think they are amphibians.

3) Fire contradicts the cold bloodedness of reptiles. I dislike this.

The love for the Fire starters has always confused me.

Fair enough, They were the best picks in gen 2/3, but when your opposition are the hideous freaks of nature that are Meganium and Swampert that's not much of a feat.

The best Starter of all time is Torterra though.That shit is cash.

Torterra is indeed win. But I like all the Sinnoh starters myself.

Fighting types are only weak to Flying types. And Flying types are weak to Electric attacks, which Infernape has in the form of Thunder Punch.

Charizard can learn fighting moves to.

Infernape can learn Flying type moves.

K, so a bit of news. I actually just preordered my White version today at a Game Stop, so apparently we can do this already. This leads me to believe we might be able to expect the games here earlier than Spring of '11. Maybe I'll turn out to be right about the January thing.

I don't expect any more updates seeing as how the Japanese release is only 8 days away. I expect that around a day after release or even faster than that I should be able to post just about every Pokemon in the games here. IT'd be a massive spoiler, so I'll be sure to warn everyone.

In related news, Famitsu gave Black and White a perfect score, something they've only done to I guess 14 other games. The first was Ocarina of Time and the most recent was Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

They only gave Diamond and Pearl a 35/40 and Ruby/Sapphire got 33/40.

I pre-ordered both version like a month ago. Release date on the paper for pre-orders at Gamestop makes me laugh because it says April 1st.

Really hope this game ends up being good. I'm kinda excited for the whole 'reboot' type thing going on. With starting back at Route 1, and what not being able to capture any pokemon from the last regions..so that probably means no evolved or unevolved forms of older pokemon.

Interview with Ken Sugimori about the starters. It looks like those earlier images might actually be the real ones. Though I don't understand how, with the way the grass final looks, it can be based on the Western style. The closest thing it looks like to me is a chinese dragon.

So which starters are you guys getting? I have a certain pattern and this time around, I'll be buidling bonds of friendship with Mijumaru.

Will probably have to start with Grass if those final evolutions are real. Would then move on to Water and lastly Fire because I hate that one the most.

Hey that's my pattern for choosing starters. Pretty coincidental. I don't mind the Fire starter that much actually.

Mine is, and always will be grass starter at first. With the exception of Gold/Silver because of how much I loathe Chikorita, and adore Cyndaquil.
