I think it's an extremely good competitive game. It just takes a lot of work to get the perfect team, especially if you end up IV breeding.

That reminds me of an old rumor I once heard about the starters being psychic, dark, and ghost before Diamond/Pearl came out, which sadly, ended up being untrue.

Have they said anything about the HM system? It was an ok system for the older generations, but I just hated it in Diamond/Pearl, I basicly had to make one HM slave pokemon which I didn't really like or train at all, in effect only giving me 5 good pokemons when traveling around the world.
