Nidoking vs Tyranitar

wow...this thread has literally gone 2 hell...it seems no matter how many feats we list(horn pierces diamond, steel-like hide, faster, OHKO moves, super effective hits) ty's side will immediately bring up the only two feats he has: mountain crushing & invincible(which i thought we stopped using). everytime we list one of nido's various feats ty is immediately defended by 1 of his 2 feats, yea go look back thru the thread, u'll see. every once in a while u'll switch it up 2 something else, but very rarely...the only reason ty still has a chance is because his numerous number of supporters. if weight doesnt matter in a fight, y does size? u brought nido's size up a while ago, but now u try to say weight doesnt matter...plz stop hiding behind those two feats, they r a very poor argument compared 2 the feats we've listed, its getting kind of senseless 2 keep arguing @ this point, i mean 38 pages!? o & here's a BETTER dex entry 4 ty;

Ash's Pokedex: Tyranitar, the Armor Pokémon. Tyranitar has a heavily armored body that can withstand powerful attacks(not invincible) and is able to crush a mountain with one hand.(i'll giv u that 1.)

You can bring up those feats all you want, they aren't enough for Nidoking to win.

Lol, Nidoking wins in the game and ties (at least) by feats; i.e. Fissure.

Let this die already. It's clear that there just isn't enough proof to support an argument for Ty. 😬

You high? The only time Nidoking wins is with game mechanics. He's demolished otherwise.

Sidenote: Most Tyrantiar that don't cary scarves carry chople berries, so even with game mechs Nido loses.

i would love nothing more than 2 let this thread die, but as long as ppl value power more than all the feats i just listed, it just doesnt seem right 4 me 2 let it die...

Power isn't valued more than all those other feats. It's the massive power advantage that we value more.

edit: imo that sounds like massive power as well...

Steels likeness is relatively unimpressive when compared to something that smashes mountains. Speed is negligible when it's at Nidoking's level. The horn doesn't really matter, OHKO doesn't exist, and super effective hits don't matter either.

you fail 2 explain y super-effective hits & a diamond piercing horn dont matter, imo with all the feats nido has, mountain crushing power doesnt matter...truly all it takes to destroy a mountain is a bunch of explosives, diamonds however require tons of pressure 2 pierce, which means i COULD go as far as to say destroying a diamond is far more difficult than piercing a diamond. another thing...mountains dont move...(diamonds dont either, but a mountain is a much larger target) nido's hide could easily take a swing from ty's "mountain crushing" hands, either that or he could just dodge, simple as that.

You underestimate the power, and overestimate Nidoking in general. Tyranitar could rip that horn off. Then you have mountain crushing strength with the diamond horn that you seem to think is so uber.

Nidoking cannot take a hit from Tyranitar. Dodging is not an option, he lacks the necessary speed.

u overestimate ty, here's how i can tell:
1. ty is not strong nor quick enough 2 grab nido's horn or damage it, its harder than a diamond(which is not comparable 2 a mountain)
2. his horn is uber, & even if u come up with a reason y it wont work, i hav other feats 2 fall back on...how bout ty?😬
3. how fast do u really need 2 b 2 stop a swing by ty? i mean really, u act like u need 2 b The Flash or something, inertia strikes again...

A Golem once stopped a Nidoking's horn attack. 🙄

Here's the facts we have, outside of the games:

- Nidoking gets wrecked by Mewtwo
- Tyranitar gets K.O'd by Togepi

yung link. You don't realize how incredible a mountain busting feat is. Let's make a slight comparison.

Akuma (I think) in Street Fighter punched an island so hard that it sank or blew up, I forget which. The force required to do this is enough to launch him into space. Imagine the force required to level a mountain.

Diamond piercing is not in that league.

Nidoking remains too slow to evade Tyranitar. Defeated is an understatement. Nidoking gets ravaged.
