No, I do not, and claiming this won't make it true. Dark Link can backflip onto a sword, this isn't a gameplay mechanic, it just occurs in gameplay. A gameplay mechanic, is the blast mask being blockable, and that's actually an oversight by the devs.

Link surviving bombs, Volvagia flames, and getting crushed by King Dodongo are all game mechanics because no one wants a frustrating Zelda game where Link gets instant KO'd by everything in the game.

And yet he can sword lock with Ganon without being crushed? I had a laugh.

That was TP Link who's roughly the same strength as Ganondorf (and no, he's not Class 100 or even near it).

Link has no durability feats outside game mechanics. A punch from Nemesis will send him flying. An RPG round will do this:

Stopping rolling Gorons is because of heavy weight + high strength.

If the mask is used, an explosion will occur causing the same effect as if Link had used a bomb. It can be especially useful if Link needs a bomb quickly, but has none in his inventory, since Link can use the Blast Mask even if he has no bombs.

The downside to using the Blast Mask is that it does damage to Link every time he uses it. However, if Link uses his shield while using the mask, he will take no damage. Once the mask has exploded, it will become transparent and unusable for a short while or until Link leaves the current area.

No... by that logic, I'm saying that when Link gets hit from explosives, they cause damage...he does get hurt. Just because he survives an explosion doesn't mean he tanked it... it still affected him. Also, blast mask isn't in this fight, and that is a different time period for this Link.... OoT comes before MM... feats/items from MM shouldn't be used in this thread. Sigh...

So Young Link is pretty broken. Explosions are afraid of him and run away even when exploding while strapped to his face.

The problem lies in your perception of the word "tank". When I say that he "tanked" it, I mean that he takes the blow, survives, and keeps fighting at the same pace he was before he got hit. And that is exactly what happens.

I don't see how protecting the face prevents bomb explosions. I say it protects the face because it damages the body which can be prevented by holding the shield up.
