Thor's attacks had no effect on Voidtry, save causing the Void to fully manifest itself. Void was only shown to be actually hurt after the heroes were revived by the Norn Stones and amped by Loki.

IIRC the stones gave "a second chance" this means they acted more like senzu beans or just a second wind. Iron man states that his battery is charged 100%

Before that IIRC there is no attack from Void to the heroes and Thor was holding himself up pretty well vs sentry/void, even after the beating he took from someone else.

And the carrier never suffered the effects of the stones.

After the stones were gone Thor keep fighting with his renewed force the same way he did when the fight vs Sentry/Void started.

So what are we debating here? Can superman defeat Void or hurt him? If you are trying to use something with a team damaging void then would I be wrong to assume that Void could easily take Superman out due to his showings against Kallibak who is inferior to Void?

The Stones clearly have a history of amping their users. From Loki, to Karnilla, to Sif, to even the Hood during that timeframe. The amp is vague at best, but it's clear it's powerful enough to cause Captain America's shield and Iron Man's repulsor rays to deal damage to the Void. The Void even made it a point to kill Loki due to his aid as it "wasn't playing fair".

By the time Thor bfred him and the carrier was dropped, the Void was already attacked by the Norn Stone amped heroes.

Thor was doing well against Sentry, but it was clear that as the Void exerted more influence over Bob, Thor's attacks were ineffective and superficial at best.

The stones have various effects, they don't have the same effect always.

In this case after the stones were used it was stated to give them a second chance, Iron man confirms his power level being at 100%.

Thor's power level is more than enough to defeat the Void if Thor is willing to kill

Seems like you're trying a little too hard to lowball Void here tbh.

I'm just trying to gauge the Void, for the real face value and the context I read in the comic.

You don't think Thor going all out can kill the Void?

It was clear in the book, at least to me that without the amp from the stones the heroes would have died. It allowed even regular humans to harm the Void, that's a pretty significant amp. Thor unleashed his lightning several times even while amped and it couldn't stop Void until the helicarrier explosion weakened him.

The Void side seems to be relying mostly on hyperbole and how powerful Void SHOULD BE. As it was stated, the heroes had 2 chances to kill him, he was amped (unless he's ever taken 2 doses of serum before) and don't forget, he had a team helping him too, a much larger team than Thor had helping him. It looked more like an army. And Thor was badly beaten up before the fight. People are saying that we're only looking at the low showings of Void from that one instance (Siege), then Jake said that we have to look at the latest Void, which was in Siege. So which is it?

Look at ALL of Void showings as a hole.

In any case, the Voidtry that's being discussed is the most current form, which would be Siege, so whether he's amped beyond his normal Void levels or not doesn't really matter at this point due to him being the most current incarnation unless the OP wants to say otherwise.

Sentry took serums through his whole career not just before Siege, that's why he is a junkie.

That's just some of his other team-busting fights. His other team-busting fight in Siege is hardly a low showing either. And these aren't even just teams; they're teams of teams.

When did Bob take more serum?

Why are people looking at just one showing involving the Void when he has had numerous of showings backing him up. Full Confidence Sentry wins by the way, Void isn't needed.

All right, that's a warning. And don't say I didn't give you a chance not to avoid it, because I did:

Yeah, because you never do that with other characters. Please.

All right, next person to talk about Non-Void Sentry gets a warning. It's Voidtry Vs Superman, so be on topic, or don't post at all.

Now, seriously, shut up about it.

Dang...I didn't even see that. Not disputing the warning.

All out Superman vs All out Sentry

No Void

Who wins ?

Sentry turns him into a patato

Superman.
