Their powers and abilities are identical, but Sentry has a greater collective power-source that is surpassed only by post-crisis Earth-Prime Superman, who has utilizes an identical power source more efficiently despite being susceptible to a wider range of weaknesses.

I don't see him overpowering legions of mid to low-end heralds along with a handful high-heralds, though. Superboy-Prime did just that.
Granted his suit helped him utilize his power-source. But he displayed immunity to mystical attacks as well as to radiation that would have greatly weakened normal Superman, I am unsure how molecule manipulation would of-aid Sentry here.
