i'd rather see Ghost Rider........but if they're were gonna replace MODOK for another villain i'd like to see Surter.

Good to know.

I couldn't find a Surter anywhere in the Marvel-verse so I assume you must mean Surfer. He's not a villain 😬

Developer bias. It's too bad they had to alienate a lot of characters who would've been great if included and done right.

Indeed.

In his defense surfer was a villain when originally introduced as a herald of galactus

I'm thinking of the Thor Villain and i spelled it wrong

That's pretty much what brought about the downfall of the roster, in addition to not bringing back plenty nostalgic characters from the last game whose return would've been ideal for MvsC 3 (Mewtwo not being in Brawl anyone?).

Until we found out that if he wasn't Galactus' herald, his homeworld would've been eaten along with his family and I'm pretty sure he felt guilty for finding planets for his master to devour. What choice did he have before meeting the Fantastic Four, turn against him, get fubar'd, and witness his world getting eaten like a midnight snack?

Yeah until that lol

Either that, or until the tentacles showed up.

Since Albert Wesker is the only character in the roster that's presumed dead in canon, I wonder if his death can be part of the MvC universe timeline since we need some form of explanation as to why he never appeared in previous MvC titles. Anyways, I would probably like it if he died in the MvC universe during the events of Resident Evil 5 and before the events of MvC3. A year later, he makes a comeback via ressurection by Dormammu and Doom offers Wesker a seat in his legion of villains so that he can get back on his feet and continue with his B.O.W. wank as long as he helps Doom out with some work involving world domination and accepts.

Let me guess, Bible Black nostalgia?

Nope, just a boner.

Going back to this for just a second, does anyone have any idea what the "Copy this!" achievement might be? At first I thought maybe Spider-man and Venom, but the picture has the symbol for a female on it. So that might rule out a two man fight. Any ideas?

Who says we need explanation for that? I say don't even try to rationalize it. His apparent death in Resident Evil 5 should really mean nothing as far as MvsC and other series are concerned.

Might have something to do with Taskmaster. Maybe he'll appear as some form of boss and after you defeat him, the achievement pops up.

And what would be wrong with Dormammu pulling Wesker out of the pits of hell?

Alright, you know what? **** the idea. I was just trying to to think of something since Albert's the only one in the roster that's pushing up daisies but seeing how it wouldn't make any sense for Doom to be wanting to bring him back at all while he can just recruit other villains like Demitri or Dr. Wily. I guess since MvC IS seperated from RE5, the alternate Wesker should not be ressurected for he shouldn't be dead in the first place at all and why to think of such craziness is beyond me. This is probably due to boredom and so I think of random ideas for this game before it comes out and see if my guesses are right.

I was told that Pyron would most likely not be in the game due to RAM problems AND that Pyron isn't much of a villain in that he wouldn't TEAM UP with anyone. Notice I emphasized "team up". Just cuz Galactus is in that comic, doesn't mean he's the boss. I think there's goin to be a boss from each company like CVS2.

Note, things may have changed and I could be wrong. I will say this, alot of the roster is Marvel's doing. They even got to dictate what Capcom characters they wanted.

Both Marvel and Capcom have say so. Marvel's Dcisions R just more known Bcause they make the dumbest. They said no BOF or MH characters right off the bat. Capcom should have said "phuck U, we'll add whoever the hell we want on our side".

But as was said earlier, the roster matters about 20%. What the roster can do is what really matters. This game looks very "Mahvel". I'm comming 2 your house 2 play, day 1. MODOK, Trish and Mags, Mag-phuckin-Neto color, will B my team. Unless we get Sent, Ken, and CapCom, then I might switch things around so that I can kick the crap out of your "Def Con 1". ROFL @ U pwing with "Def Con 5"!

The people you should be blaming for no MH reps are the creators themselves. It was them who didn't want them in this game.

And Marvel has no say on which Capcom characters get in. Only their own.

I think the other Capcom villain they should have added was Bison. But it looks like we'll be getting Akuma instead. Even though he's not really a villain. The only reason I see them putting him in is because he's closer to Ryu, but even that doesn't justify getting in over the main SF villain.

Honestly, I knew many of who was gonna be in this roster, anyway. The truth of the matter is, the developers already had an idea of who they wanted in before they even announced the game. All this fan demand crap is BS. You might get your prayers answerd in DLC but not on release. Talbain woulda been up in this ***** long ago if fan demand (while the game was being developed) mattered.

But you gotta give props, tho. The cast is neato, that's why I aint trippin'. Everybody looks to have their own playstyle and gimmicks. If you are even a moderate MVC fan, you'll know how unbalanced those damn games were. To have everyone so strong together is downright excitin'. Tho, with the sort of unbalance the VS series has had, it allowed for alotta freedom in the games. There was always something new to find and discover. I hope Cap can keep that "magic".

Tokido, Marn, Yipes, etc. say it's "MAHVEL". So yeah, tis da shit.

You got a source for that? Because it seems odd to me that Marvel can deny inclusions of characters that aren't even owned by them.

I know some of the Marvel characters that were excluded Capcom wanted, but Marvel said no to them.

This game is a mix of fan demand, characters the developers want, and characters Marvel wants. Sounds fair enough to me.

Hell the fact that this game is even being made is fan demand.

Capcom never had plans to add in any Monster Hunter characters to MvC3. Marvel had some characters that were off the table from the very start, but this is a contract thing and Niitsuma couldn't elaborate on it.

The truth is, it's not really a "mix of fan demand and characters the developers want". Cap/Mvl may have put in a few widly popular characters but they didn't add characters suggested to them while the game was being made.

And Cap and MVL have been discussin' MVC3 since after MVC2. So it's not really fan demand, it's just an easy cash grab. Cuz even if it was in high demand, if Cap or MVL thought it wouldn't make money, it wouldn't be made.
