No I understood your point. Using that same logic he should have been in the first MVC.
I would rather a character who doesn't have the same fighting style. If they really wanted to make him more different than Ryu they shouldn't have given him his version of the Shinku Hadoken and Shin Shoryuken. They should have given him that ground pound move from Third Strike and that new special from SSF4.
Hey this is also adding more fuel to the fire from people complaining about the exclusions of characters like Ken, Blade, and Punisher.
Its obviously you don't understand hence the bad arguments your tossing at me.
and lol at "If they really wanted to make him more different than Ryu they shouldn't have given him his version of the Shinku Hadoken and Shin Shoryuken. They should have given him that ground pound move from Third Strike and that new special from SSF4."
The only super Akuma has that is similar to Ryu's is the standard Beam super ala Shinku Hadoken, and not to mention Supers =/= there entire fighting style.
Ken has no place on the roster other then being a waste of space, Punishers as much as I hate to say it, also has no place on the roster, with all the gun flossing cast member already in, I doubt blade would bring anything new to the table Dante, Deadpool etc etc already does.

Okay then what is your point?

The Messatu Gou Shoryuu is Akuma doing a bunch of uppercuts. Again it's his version of the Shin Shoryuken. Those other two supers I mentioned would have made him stand out from Ryu more.

I agree that Punisher and Blade wouldn't bring anything new. But people who are hellbent on them getting in would just say something like "If they can make Akuma different why can't they do the same for them!"
And watch out for Ken fans here. I got into it with a couple people here awhile ago when I mentioned that I didn't want him for this. Just warning you.

I don't know who this is towards, because I'm not "baaaaawwwwwwwing". I don't even hate Akuma. It just that Capcom needed another actual villain and Bison being the main SF villain should have been the next logical choice. A wasted opportunity for them not having the two most iconic Capcom villains in the same game. If Akuma was DLC then I wouldn't have minded.

Yes its his version of a shin Shoryuken but that doesn't make them the same, I mean Akuma's goes a cross the screen Ryu's doesn't, its more so similar to ken's Shoryu Reppa if anything.

Simply because its not about "making them different form X character' its about the rosters diversity. The game is already saturated enough with gun slingers as it is.

Thanks for the tip, that video wasn't aimed you but at players who would want X character in the game that really wouldn't contribute any to the roster but just take up space I.E. Ken fans.

I agree 100, tho Im at the point where it doesn't even have to be a SF villain. Capcom's side of the fence sure isn't as menacing as marvels, and I find that to be a shame.

Lei Lei is back?!? I had lost interest in getting this game for a long while now but after seeing Lei Lei in action, I'm gonna have to reconsider!
@Dingo: I'd say Lei Lei came first but I can't find the release date for Night Warrior's arcade release anywhere! It seems no one knows the exact date except that it came out in '95.
