If it wasn't already bad enough that they're releasing Ultimate MvC3 as only a disc when it should have been DLC, they've now announced that they are making DLC for UMvC3. Talk about throwing salt on the wound.
The interview, published via Japanese magazine Famitsu, reports that the DLC for the supposed-DLC title, is going to range from new costumes, additional options, and more. What's going to definitely catch further ire of the already irate gamers is that they're also selling new modes of play. Again, Capcom, just throw in the disc what you could, and just send some DLC our way when there's actual new content.Oh, and they're even throwing in "unlimited hyper combos", which, really, could do away with all the DLC drama and just be an unlockable reward or something in the game. It escapes comprehension, personally, as to why they would think covering up a flub with another ginormous (or maybe even bigger) flub is going to smoothen things out.

As much as I hate Cap right now, I gotta say, peeps who have this notion that UMVC3 can be DLC are outta their mind. If MS and Sony wouldn't allow SSFIV as DLC, wtf gives people this idea that an update even more radical than Super would be DLC? With UMVC3, you're gettin'...
-TWELVE new characters (Strider, are you serious!?). Don't even need to go into detail about why that's massive. lol Some fighters only start with 12 (or a few more) characters.
-It's Rebalanced
-New Moves for many characters, some of which I gotta say, are ridiculously game alterin.
-Integral game systems are heavily change and/or altered drastically.
-New stages
-New modes
-New online
All that, can't possibly be DLC. The problem is, Capcom already planin weak, payed DLC before the game is even finished. And the fact that UMVC3 is commin out so soon after the original, not that's BS. But all that shit for 40$ is a ****in steal. You're basically paying 20$ less for the game you would've had if they had an extra year N' a half of development time.
With the in-game patches they made on Sentinel and the like, I really beg to differ on it being impossible for them to make all that stuff as some sort of DLC, but that's beside the point. The point is them already making DLC for UMvC3, such as costumes and game modes. You can't tell me with a straight face that that is shit they couldn't of put on the UMvC3 disc to begin with.

They slightly altered 'some' characters...They didn't add hypers, specials, and utilities to 70% of the cast in patches. 😆 They could have made all that stuff as DLC, but Sony and MS have restrictions. You're addin, essentially, an entirely new game to an already existin game.
Now I agree with what the other shit you say, as I have stated already. But UMVC3 as DLC? Gtfoh!

He is. Every time someone mentions Yun everybody turn their heads and growl in disgust, even pros (rofl) I think Daigo will continue to use Yun unless the nerfs he receives ruin his meta game. Kindda like how he didn't switch in Super but switched when Ryu's low forward was nerfed in AE.
