When Stryfe and Bishop almost kill Apoc he was awoken from his sleep and at his weakest state, and Bishop said " and even then, killing Apocalypse took everything we had". And when he got his strength back he stomped. So using the whole "He beats an abstract, and then get his ass handed to him by Stryfe and Bishop" is a kinda shitty example.
BUT
If given the chance DS could use the same plan Bishop used to make this an easy fight. 👿

It was more questioning what alleged abstract he beat in the first place. I don't see Apoc as weak, but fighting Darkseid is in another league altogether.
