Mah observes the womans moves..

"Yes, Master Gundark," Xeth says. He waits for Gundy to sense something.

(I have no actual plot happenings that will just happen spontaneously for you two, BB and Gundy. Wasn't your plan to speak to the boss?)

Mah, you are sure, when reading Gundark's reports of the mission before you joined the team, that you have heard of a sabre like that wileded by this girl before- it;s the way it is covered with doodads- wire rings, energy level adjustors, all sorts of flashy stuff.

"Those are the ones," sayd Galder. "And why should I?" he says to you, Marcus. His in-built wrist gun blasts at another guard, but you are ready for this, and deflect the bolt harmlessly away.

Galder wants to say more, but the guards are not willing to stand and be shot at any more. All 23 of the remaining guards level their weapons at Galder (the only one who is firing) and fire- which is a bit much, even for him. A compartment in his artifical arm opens and his second sabre springs from it into his hand as he prepares to desperately defend himself...

"gentlemen and lady this solves nothing, let us keep this fight decent and clean (!)"

(Okay - gotcha, Ush) Then I would say Xeth and I follow Li to try to get more information out of him, if thats okay with BB.

Xeth knows full well that Li is more likely to organise your deaths- certainly Xeth's death- than help.

Mah and Marcus, a large laser shot flies out one of the side entrances to the hanger and blasts down a guard. Everyone ignores Marcus' words as the guards continue to blast away at Galder.

and yet again so many will die in vain and a futile death, I have seen too much death for tens of lives

I am looking to see wether or not I can find the source of the laser shot

(It's from the side entrance- there is someone there)

*Thinks....*my kicks seem to have no effect...
Sieri continues to wonder where the thing came from...what it eats...where it lives...whether it is sentient...all the while she takes out her lightsaber "Maybe this will get the thing to reason with me???" she futilely thinks....
she ignigtes the saber

"Xeth, I think we had best follow Li at a distance. Maybe he'll lead us onto something other than our own deathtraps."

(Sadly, Gundy, he's probably just going back to Shareth's. I'll tell you know, he doesn't really have anything to do with Ascar)

Galder is trying to roll out of the hail of fire coming at him.

"Gundy, I feel he knows something about Ascar, but if we follow him it will most likely end up with us cornered, captured, or dead. You have a bounty on you and Shareth the Hutt wants me dead."

(Ush, are you referring the boss of the gambling place?)

Yup

(I love it when I'm right)

"Come on, Master Gundark. We need to see the owner of this place..."

(Why are we seeing him again? I forgot.)

I believe you were trying to find people who Ascar might have seen since coming here.

Sieri swipes her lightsaber over the nearest tentacle thing. She nearly takes out her own left foot in the process, but she manages to avoid the unpleantry.

Sieri, you manage to free yourself from the tentacle and jump to your feet- but you are surrounded by a dozen more. Lance is likewise in trouble.

From nearby, bursts of laser fire emerge. The shots are extremely accurate, the the tendrils are blown apart in seconds.

All around you are the silhoutettes of many people.

Mah and Fire- I have delayted for a while but I am afraid things are simply going to have to move on in your situation. Galder is still under heavy fire but rolling to avoid it. Chion is starting to slowly swing his sabre around himself, and the girl has lept forwards to attack the guards on your left. Another guard is blasted down by whoever is firing from the doorway.

maybe we should step forward then?

"I think we should try to check out that door way and at the same time make sure we don't get drawn into a battle we can not win mah!"
