"It so happens I can arrange to meet the Lamellan Senator this afternoon. He is keen to see me as he has received so many complaints about this matter. I hope to put them at rest. I imagine T'Lo Nebb will appreciate having the situation made clear- I am unsure if communication between the Jedi and the local authorities has 100% effective. But Nebb is there to help you, after all, so whilst I am glad you appreciate my support it should only serve to make him more keen to do a job he was already there to do.

"I am afraid you will have to excuse me now, Yerssot. Affairs of state are many and pressing, but you have my best wishes and greatest regards for the success of your mission."

(so, is T'lo the senator? and if not I take I have the note to show him?)

T'Lo is the Assistant to the Senator now on Tartarus.

Yerssot bows to the Supreme Chancelor thanking him again for his (poor) help.
He returns to the Jedi Temple and starts collecting his stuff for the trip.
They include:
A device to create the link to the SC and the JC, a second lightsabre (one used for training purposes, but just as good as a normal one, which he places on his belt on his back), bacta for the wounds;a comlink to contact master Marcus and Mah when he gets to Tartarus and the standard republic credits

(I take if you're not agreeing with something you'll tell me)
(jedi starfighter?)

He takes the note and puts it in the compartment on his belt.
He then goes and train his lightsabre-fights with master Vos while he awaits the news from the SC.

Unless you want some other form of transport, a Jedi Starfighter is quite ideal.

The news comes soon afterwards that the Lamellan Senator has withdrawn his current objections to the mission on Tartarus and hopes that his representative will be able to sort out the legal problems as soon as possible.

The Force pulled Androni's appointment book into Kellan's hand even as her eyes spied the name of his last visitor. "Sannon ? Androni, where was he headed after he left here ?"

"Hey, that's mine!" he says. "And where my clients go is none of your business..."

"I'm sure I don't need to remind you of the importance of cooperating with a Jedi asking questions," Kellan told Androni, casually flipping through the rest of the book. "Just tell us what your meeting with him was about and anything else you know about him and we'll leave you to go about your business."

"I answer to the Hutts, not you!" says Androni. "And anyway, I was just arranging a meeting. There is nothing criminal about that!"

"I don't see any Hutts around here at the moment so you can answer to me. What was the meeting about ? And where is Sannon now ?" Kellan began walking around to Androni's side of the desk.

Androni seems to back afurthe and further into his desk.

"He was meeting with Arazi!" he says. "Arazi doesn't normally come to Hutt space so I arranged the meeting here!"

"Who is Arazi ? The man who was just here ? What does he have to do with Ascar ?"

(Well, he did call the man Arazi...)

"Yes. He doesn't have ANYTHING to do with 'Ascar', directly. Sannan just wanted to do business with him. Now, please, I am a very busy man..."

"Perhaps I should suggest to the Hutts that they may want to audit your books, Androni," Kellan said lightly. "I'm sure they want to make sure they're getting their fair cut of your profits." She sat on his desk and placed a booted foot against his chest. "Unless you'd rather talk to me about Sannon and Azari."

"It so happens I am on good terms with the Hutts, Jedi," says Androni. However, when you place your boot against yhim he starts to gibber.

"AAH! AAH! Don't kill me! They were just doing business! People business! Arazi is a Slaver, he was selling the girl to Sannan!"

Kellan considered this piece of news. Surely Ascar enjoyed the pleasures of the flesh, however the business of slavery rubbed her the wrong way. Badly. Without moving her foot she continued. "Where is the exchange of the girl taking place ?"

Xeth- now Androni mentiosn slavery, you recognise the name Arazi. He is a FAMOUS slaver- he does big business where slavery is not illegal (whilst technically it is illegal everywhere, the Republic is powerless to override local authority outside the Inner Worlds). Androni is right, Arazi rarely goes to Hutt Space; he deals with pirates. Odd that Ascar would choose to deal with him; not as if Nar Shadda is short on slavers. Ascar would have had to pay much for Arazi to come here.

"It's not really my business where they will meet..." says Androni, who blatantly knows where.

Kellan snapped the appointment book shut and used it along with a wave of the Force to clean off the top of Androni's desk. She pressed her foot harder against the man's chest. "Let's try it one more time. Where are they making the exchange ?"

Androni cringes.

"Ok! Ok!" he says. "It's a hotel suite... you'll need a voice code... I'll take you there if you just leave me alone!"

There is then the sound of laser fire from the floors below. Androni turns pale.

"What have you done?" he yells. He presses a button on his desk and a wall panel slides aside to show a bank of security monitors, just in time to see the last one going blank as it is shot out like all the others.

Kellan leapt to her feet, pulling and igniting her sabre with a blur. "On your toes, Androni," she ordered, grabbing his arm. "Looks like you might be one of our two tickets out of here."
