Odd.... Kellan thought, picking up the slave girl's presence. If they have Ascar in custody, why would that girl still be around ? Surely they would have released her.....

Dividing her attention in thirds, partly to the Senator, partly to the girl and partly to the general atmosphere around herself and Vincent, Kellan addressed the Senator carefully. "Senator, exactly how did you locate Ascar ? How did your team know he was here on Nar Shadda ?"

"Oh, that was very simple," says Riordan. "I have actually worked with Ascar in the past- I have been known to indulge in a spot of legal gambling from time to time! Anyway, Ascar sent a message to me saying he wanted to give himself up, but he was stuck on Nar Shadda where he could trust no-one and he was afraid for his life. So I got myself authorisation as oon as I could to come and take charge of him personally, and here he was, as he promised!"

It is, of course, very VERY hot in this half of the hangar bay, and also full of smoke and dust and debris. You cannopt think how anyone who was actually in this explosion could have survived- or why anyone else would come into it after the bang... but you have a bad feeling about this...

You two suddenly hear a piercing high-pitched scream, which formulates into words soon after.

"I SEE YOU, JEDI! I'll see you DEAD soon, yerssot!"

You can also hear a very loud mechanical sound nearby, of over-worked machinery- something falling? (not onto you, before you worry)

As the flames die down, you see the atmosphere exposed high above. You can also hear the whine of a ships' engines powering up.

(Wow, lots is happening while I duel...)

"Boy, I prove to be popular all of a sudden"

if it's from the ship, I take I'm going to run to safety before they start shooting
