(Don't worry, Wraith, I talk it up worse than it is. With your Jedi senses you just need to press home a determined attack. Having the Force with you really IS a boon!)
Only the stairs lead to the upper level. The citadel is ziggurat-like in structure, meaning that not only is the ceiling very thick, cutting upwards would take you to a sloped roof, not the upper level. The walls are indeed VERY thick. In fact, they are about a foot too long to be easily cut with a sabre.
In fact, if you didn;t know better you would say the walls were built like this on porpose, And now you thinkm about it, Takuan, you DON'T know better because you just remembered these buildings all look old, about a thousand years old, and now you think about it some of the symbols you have seen on the walls are very similar to some of the symbols you have seen on the tablets taken from Avalar...
-
Galder, you are not sure but the Civilian area is the size of a city, so you would guess there are thousands of them.
(has Takuan even seen the tablets?)
Even these buildings are related to the siths in his vision, thinks Takuan.
(i'll think about the symbol resemblance ..)
Takuan waits for the explosion for now. When the miramar head to it, he'll be exiting the room as fast as he can heading for saar. But, just in case that doesn't work, he looks around for anything to block that door. (the walls seem pretty resistent)
Yes, Kuylen showed EVERYONE the tablets so you would actually believe him. Ascar told you about them, if you remember, Dexx, when Kuylen presented them in front of you both (which I did mainly so someone ELSE could tell the story other than Kuylen for once).
The bed, you guess, Takuan.
One minute to go and footsteps can be heard in this corridor...
Hey, nice idea, Galder! That's the spirit! There is nothing to stop endless violence being a solution to many problems so long as you put some thought into it...
(I don't like bombs..." Jolanta sighs. But she starts to rig it all up.
-
Takuan, you could will your mind into obedience to fool the most sensitive of Jedi. But nothing will stop these Miramar from finding you by conventional means.
They are checking each room one at a time. Two rooms away.. one room away...
Sadly, these are not Sith buildings in the LITERAL sense, merely built under Sith auspice when they breezed past this way, like the buildings on Yavin. The natural defences are mainly focussed around being strong and sabre resistant- no cool Sith tricks here; it is quite mundane. Try the NEXT story for that! Not that you are going to find the Mausoleum, or anything...
Their military search pattern is rather precise. Three man teams are searching each room and multiple rooms are being searched simultaneusly. The three man room enters this one whilst the room before is still being searched...
(That would include yourself Dexx. Wouldn't try the detonators...
I take it mind tricks wouldn't work on a Miramar?)
"I don't care if you don't like bombs," Galder snaps as he hops from the now stopped monorail. He double checks his weaponry to make sure he has everything: his two lightsabers, two pistols, two droid blasters, one repeater, and a batch of grenades and thermal detonators.
"Well, have you finished yet?" Galder asks impatiently.
