USH'S GAME EPISODE IV- 'CHASE'- DARK SIDE AREA

Started by Ushgarak91 pages

(I shall assume side)

You desperately leap to one side and your free hand finds purchase on the railing of another walkway, Allor... you flail somewhat as you deflect more shots with your sabre, dangling with a sheer drop beneath you...

-

Dark Siders tend to focus their mind to keep it hidden rather than mess around with that Light Side calm nonsense... if you are calm your emotions are dormant and you have no power, typically cowardly way for a Jedi to approach things. Emotions bring POWER, but you must have a disciplined mind or it will radiate for miles around. Kuylen hammered in that lesson to you again and again and again.

Jolanta seems happy enough to follow you, for now... and in a little while you make it to the ship. It's not huge, an eight-man ship- shoprt, squat black thing. Any idea on entry? Or any other plan?

Allor keeps deflecting while trying to stabalize herself before falling. Shee succedes?

Galder walks up to the entry hatch and attempts to open it.

Takuan continues his force focused message. He wants saar to recieve a 'multiple lifes' sense behind the door. (if he didn't already get my first)

oh well..here goes nothing. what else could i have done?....
"open the doors saar.."

(i was thinking of a coded language..but i don't assume i know any)

I chuckle "This Galder sounds like fun!" then I mutter "so long as he doesn't blow me up!!"

I follow Chion, still talking to Rura "Any idea where he's going?"

(Are we close enough to sense the turmoil coming from Jolanta?)

Nowhere near close enough.

"Best just to follow," says Rura.

Chion deals simply with a sewer lid by tearing it off with a large, three-fingered hand and throwing the cover across the street.

By the time you climb down after Chion, you see him frowning at a section of the sewer wall, which, now you take a closer look at it, is a fake wall section.

-

Oh, well, you are stable enough, Allor, just you are dangling by one hand from the edge of a walkway whilst desperately batting off shots with your sabre held in your other hand! A neat way to right yourself onto the walkway would be good.

-

Locked, Galder. Darn that Persis and his vast brain!

You can't help thinking something is wrong. SOMETHING has been bugging you about all this for ages!

-

Takuan, there is a whine as a PA system comes on-line.

"Takuan? What the hell is going on out there?" comes Saar's voice.

"well.... the sitation's a little explosive" he says trying to give a hint with voice inflexions "i've blown up the armoury.."

"Chion would you mind telling me what we're doing down here?" I look around before standing next to Chion. Seeing the fake wall I reach out with my senses before touching it.

"Do we need to be through there Chion?" I ask touching the fake wall again.

Using both the force and sense of touch I try to determine what it is made of....

Galder shakes his head. I have a bad feeling about this... he thinks, and then looks to Jolanta. He then asks a smuggler if he could open the ship for him. His explanation is that he left his wallet in there and would like to get it back.

"It's not MY ship!" says the smuggler, irritably. "Go find the owner! Isn't he inside, anyway?"

-

"Where the hell have you BEEN?" says Saar, over the PA.

-

Chion nods. He is preparing to cut through it with his sabre.

It's actually a metal door by the feel of it, Rah. But... wired up to a dozen security systems, most likely.

"Alright, sorry," Galder says, and walks back to the door of the ship. He knocks.

Wraith continues deflecting, and then ignites a second lightsaber, a green one. He throws it at the bounty hunter and then turns and runs, away from him. He calls his lightsaber back behind him.

(sorry. I was cut off the net for the last week.)

The angled platform is no problem for me, what with reptilian claws on my feet. I have both sabres ignited and runn right up at the attackers, blocking shots with my humming blades.

Reptile senses on high, and anger higher, I become a super-deadly force.

"i've been up trying to close the entrances....uselessly though" answers takuan AGAIN trying to give a hint

"Alrighty then" Keeping my senses keen I ignite one half of my sabre, but before helping Chion I turn to Rura "You gonna help?"

Rura shakes his head.

Chion pulls from his back the largest sabre handle you have ever seen, with two large speheres for a grip designed for his large, alien-hands. The blade he activates is at least twice as think and halg again as long as a normal sabre- more like a claymore. With it, he makes short work of the door... and promptly trips all the alarms you guessed the door was wired up to. He does not seem concerned.

Chion, incidentally, is dressed up in primitive leathers looking not unlike a Viking, though a freakishly nightmarish one. He pulls from his leathers a small grenade, which he throws into the darkness beyond the doorway.

-

"And where are the Miramar?" asks Saar.

-

Dak, you clamber to the top of the angled walkway. Five men, with hunting rifles, about thirty feeet away from you, are your main concern right now. Ascar has escaped; Allor is down to your right, dangling from another walkway. You have no idea where Wraith is since something sent him flying off down below.

Balek flicks his shield-arm and bashes the thrown sabre to one side, Wraith. He tries to step on it to stop you calling it back but it slides away from his foot just in time. He continues blasting after you, and on this narrow walkway it is damn hard to manoeuvre!

-

The knocking sound echoes slightly, Galder. No answer.

"close" he says trying to obvious enough (but not as to get me killed though 😄 )
he couldn't know where the miramar are unless he had already met them. he hopes saar gets that.

Galder knocks again, harder this time, and calls out, "Any body home?"

"Don't believe in knocking then Chion!" Keeping my sabre lit I step to the side of the door and await any action that might suddenly come from within.

The grenade goes off, followed by a secondarly explosion that detonated the trip mine inside the corridor. The sound, echoing in the 'sewers' (you are having second thoughts about their sewer-like nature), is exceptionally loud! Chion barely squeezes into the corridor beyond...

-

No answer, Galder.

-

"Tell you what," says Saar. "Why don't you go check and see where they are? Maybe seal a few doors as you go."
