Depends on if you believe Kakashi was able to cut real lightning. Not that Gai has any reason to lie. But Itachi was able to form Susanoo fast enough to block real lightning.

When he fought Sasuke. Kirin is real lightning just where it strikes is controlled by Sasuke. When Susanoo first appears.

while i believe thats real lightning i dont believe it was instant like for example a lightning bolt...i cant post links so go to onemanga and go to SDK chapter 101 page 17, 18, and 19 to see what i mean

How is it not as fast as a lightning bolt when..it's a lightning bolt just Sasuke can make it strike where he wants. The reason he had to set up the attack was to create storm clouds to form real lightning.

Sasuke's perfected Susano'o can still be beaten, and its armor was weakened by Danzou. I'd think that Sarutobi would be able to get through Susano'o.
Plus he's fast.

Perhaps not perfect, but it is 'complete' though as that extra layer his Susano'o attained against Kakashi is akin to a suit of armor over a human being.

Since we don't know what Sasuke's Susano'o can do with that extra armor, we have no choice but to use the completed version that he used against Danzou.

What exactly do you mean when you say he could obtain Itachi's? Susano'o has a slightly different appearance for each person.

I mean the weapons Itachi's had. Though I doubt he will. And if Itachi's complete Susanoo can tank Kirin I don't see how what Danzo did will work if Sasuke's was complete. Then again Sasuke's weaker so.
