I'm thinking of going for your sneaky Imperial counterpart myself. We get orbital bombardments. 😄
In the current playtesting, IA sniper is the ultimate DPS, while Madness Sorc pretty much electronically rapes everyone. Not a bad choice. My Sith character will be Inquisitor, most likely.
Also, amen on the Guild War fanboys comment. I don't get the idea of MMO fanboyism. I actively play and rotate among multiple MMOs, from DDO, LOTRO, Champions Online, and soon this.

Same. Going to be a madness Sorceror myself. Hopefully, I can be a pureblood. For Republic... Probably a Jedi Knight, the story details I've seen seem amazing plus it is the most "pure" SW tale.

Probably not. Reactions to TOR in the video game forums have been very meh. Mostly because they're all gargantuan Guild Wars fanboys.
It's sad really. The game does look impressive but not breath taking by any means.
Agreed. Only PvP I like is LOTRO's monster play.
My main concern at the moment is whether or not Purebloods will be allowed to be Inquisitors (which is up in the air, or may become available through the Legacy system), and whether or not they better handle the idea of companions. I know right now they read "So and So's Companion" instead of the same name as your own (Should you both happen to have the same companion, in other words), and you can change the armor, but it's still breaking immersion. I'd rather not have them when playing in a group.
I still think it sucks that not all species can be all classes in a faction. But oh well, dems the breaks. And I think the companions look like they'll be alot of fun. I'm gonna go for the female Darth Maul or maybe the guy who used to hang with Tulak Hord back in the day. I wanna see how truthful Kreia was being (not much I guess). Whoops no I'm getting the bald Ventress chick. Eh, that was my thrid choice anyway.
Your character is quickly revealed as an exceptional Jedi with skills far beyond that of a normal padawan. Multiple NPCs comment on this exceptional status throughout the Jedi Consular story. One Jedi Master even goes so far as to say your character was more powerful at the age of four then she was at 15.
On the Consular. Thats pretty badass. The story line actually sounds really intriquing.
