Did you seen Chille play?
They will STUFF both Spain and Switzerland imo 😈
A bit early but any ideas for the golden boot?
Diego Forlan looks well hungry and on form he´s my tip.
As for Rooney, he has never scored a goal in the a World Cup. At Man U he is excellent but I still think he runs about too much like a headless chicken.
I don't know, Rooney said he was really looking for goals this time around - then again against the USA he was essentially no where to be found.
Argentina takes a 4-1 win against the Koreans. Fantastic performance, but to be expected by them of course.
England tomorrow lads! Algeria, should be a definite win but we all know the Three Lions...
Let's hope for the best, I'm predicting a nice 3-0 or 2-0 victory.

Argentina are impressive, just shows even if you put a couple of players on Messi the other players are also top class and can cause mayhem.Higuain scored 3 easy goals, but getting in the right position is also an important quality as a striker, golden boot on the cards maybe??
Don't think Chile were that great though, I still think Spain is going through.

What'd you think of Uruguay's tactics and key player(s) in the S. Africa match?

I thought it was a good team effort in general. Forlan and Suarez were busy and seemed to work good together.
As for tactics, I think the gap between the midfield and strikers is too big and top teams will use this space to really cause problems.
Another African team on the way out, Nigeria lost 2:1 to Greece. Nigeria just seemed to cave in after the red card, very odd. I still fancy S.Korea in this group though behind Argentina

France without the magic of Zidane = Mediocre.
It wouldn´t suprise me if the final group results somehow get France through. I think they will beat S.Africa, lets hope Mexico and Uruguay do a draw deal.
Maybe Platini will dream up some new rule so France can go through, like they changed the seeding for the World Cup qualification so they couldn´t meet Portugal.
Anyone else notice that Toulalan was wearing a different jersey than the other French players ??

America vs Slovenia, who takes it?
The USA 2:0.
If England don´t stuff Algeria, who are probably the worst team in the tournament then the "mierde" will hit the fan.
They are playing at "Green Point Stadium". A good opertunity for Greene to make his point (if he plays).
