Rooney was the worst player. He did nothing.

I just think something is wrong in the camp. Capello's regime is not giving the players the confidence they need to flourish. They look nervous and scared to death.

Play Gerrard with Rooney and put Joe Cole on the wing

Best players on the team were: Lennon, Barry and Heskey...and Cappello substituted all of them.

Seriously should've sent Gerrard off, and I'm not even kidding, so out of position, pushed Lennon on the left wing, where he actually seemed pretty comfortable.

Crouch and Defoe should have been playing at the beginning with Lennon and Dawson, otherwise, **** the 4-4-2.

Glen Johnson played well, he usually does. I thought Lennon was playing fine.

Rooney was asleep, Heskey had opprotunities but he for some ****ing reason can never score.

They are not consistant, they are afraid they are nervous they don't take chances and they don't bother to create them. This is meant to be Englands year but I'm not seeing it. Capello needs to seriously re-think the line up.

One thing that game showed was Gerrard-Rooney playing together.

England are playing with fear, and its clear to everyone who watched the game. Rooney doesn't look fit at all to me and there is no craft on the wings. Joe Cole has to start the next game and i think Phillips too as he at least attempted to get to the byline.

Heskey played OK too but if the best thing we can say about him is

''Oh he can hold the ball up well''

then we are in seriously trouble.

Sorry to keep adding to the cynicism but that was the worst England performance I've ever seen.

Thats what needs to be done up top, get Gerrard and Rooney up with Joe Cole in midfield to replace, I liked that idea.

At one point in the game Lampard was in loads of space, Gerrard looked at him, and passed to Rooney who had about 3 players around him and lost the ball.

Take him off the left wing and put him in the hole.

Think you English people are a bit overreacting, that and being a bit faggy. England didn't lose, you'll (beat Slovania by 1)push through with the US and Algeria was playing a 'make it or break it' game, keep that in mind, cornered wounded animal.

England's still got a chance to get their shit together, wake the **** up and play like a proper World Cup champion should.

You can't say with certainly England will progress. They are playing terrible at the moment and have made it really hard for themselves to progress.

They need to do better and that is a fact

Well as technical ability and movement off the ball is concerned Slovenia are probably the best team in the group.

England are nervous, chaotic, out of shape in a physical and tactical sense, they lood like a bunch of strangers who are playing together for the first time.

I can´t see CRAPello changing that before the next game, and all Slovenia need is a draw and that would mean the winner of the USA v Algeria game would go through🙂

There is no over reaction, we played horriblly. It's an insult to see brilliant players play so good throughout the season, but when representing their country they give us two very poor performances.
