I mean, obviously its apart of the game. He made a sacrifice to keep his team in. They got to go through. Call it whatever you want, he made a bold move.

I actually wanted Ghana to lose since they beat the US, but not like that. 😬

I wanted Ghana to win so Spooony was wrong about South American countries in the semi finals.

I wanted to Ghana to win because I already decided they'd come in 4th since their USA win.

Netherlands to win.

Well, you tend to be generally wrong though. 😛

I wanted Ghana to win also...

But on the plus side....

I was right! w00t

Reading up on it and the rules, it's apprently not a cheat, like faking an injury is for the purpose of getting a free or penalty kick, as he didn't contest the red-card and he walked the **** out.

Mairuzu (for once) seems to be correct, it's a sacrifice; he paid for it with a red and gave the opposition a penaly kick.

Hmm, I predicted Holland to beat Brazil correctly, and I will be correct on another prediction when Argentina beat that cabbage eating beer drinking country.

Steroids = cheating.

This was just apart of the game. He knew the penalty for what he was doing.

It doesn't make it right though. Whether it;s "cheating" or not is just semantics.

I didn't want Ghana to win and I'm glad they got lame'd out.

There have been plenty of things that haven't been "right" in this world cup.

Uruguay advances. That's basically all that needs to be said.

Nothing wrong with that.

I know.... My original post stated that I didn't blame him for doing it.

It was an injustice though.

Ghana had it coming.
