You forgot to mention, Germany managed to keep Messi out of the game and Spain hs no Messi, ok David Villa is top notch but he will get owned by Philip Lahm.
Funny enough the week point for Germany could be Torres, his very un-Spain-like style of play could be the key, even though he hasn´t been that effective so far in this world cup.
If Germany take their chances, and the referee isn´t a total tool (like the one in the Spain Paraguay game) then they are going to stuff Spain & Holland in the final

Because Germany ALWAYS do well in tournaments, they could send in a team of one legged players and still get to the final. It´s a football phenonemon!!
Odd that there are no comments on the curios Spain V Paraguay game. Weird things happened in that game. 1 penalty didn´t count and the retaken one more people ran into the box as in the first one, but the goaly held it. Then Paraguay got one staight after and it got held as well, and a whole bunch of players were in the box then as well.
The David Villa´s goal, hit the post, second shot hit BOTH posts and went in, very odd.

That Ref lost it. He was blowing his whistle not knowing exactly why until after.

I'm fairly certain there's corruption in FIFA and some of the more odd calls the Refs make are because of this.
Don't know if it's like you said, gambling or if some official is taking bribes to favor a team in any given match, but somethings not on the up-and-up.
I think every sport has at least one annoying rule that it could do without. With soccer its definitely off-sides. Such a stupid damn rule. I've thought that since I was a kid, and think it especially when I see it screw countries out of legit goals in the World Cup. It doesn't endanger anyone and its not cheating, so I don't understand why its illegal. What makes it worse is that its the one call that refs make too liberally, usually on an arbitrary whim. "I don't like that guy, so I think I'll raise my flag strike down his precious point."
