why not both? sentry wanted to die but to do so, someone powerfull enough to kill him was needed. hence, thor was shown to have the raw power needed to kill void sentry if given the chance to use it.

and with the wish to die, sentry/bob's will/whish to die lets him stay dead.

Well here is logic.

If Thor was incapable of harming Void even with an upgrade yet was able to without the upgrade when Void allowed him then that would logically mean that Void let go or down his durability/reforming powers and allowed Thor to kill him. This is common sense.

Also doesn't Void have MM powers of some sort? Can't he explode Thor with a thought? Even the old Void can simply crush Thor's ribs as easily as he crushed Hulk's.

Thor killed VOID. FACT. period.

Thor only killed Void because Void wanted for it to happen as confirmed by the writer himself

😕 oh so the writers decide on what happens in the comic books ?. hmm i thought its all a big surprise and the characters in the pages decide what they want to do on their own
