Runner is one, maybe two steps above Surfer. Odins several levels above.

Runners good, but he's no Skyfather.

Yeah, but there's limits.

And Odin doesn't need to directly target Runner to win this. He has plenty of non direct options, like omni-directional attacks and other spells.

Other than Ego the only who can give Odin a fight is possibly Grandmaster but even than Odin should win that.

Runner can't win.

maybe not so much now that surfer is more extravagant with his power, a lot more so than he was back when he fought the runner.

How exactly does runner win this fight?He can't die but he can go uncounsious.

it was an homage story to barry allen (the "flash alien" was called buried alien) and the way makkari and buried alien won was by a technique (buried alien was already using the technique) to gain infinite speed not unlike merging with the speed force , in fact it was stated to keep you in a superspeed state forever and the runner knew how to do it but chose not to cause he loves life.

the weird thing is, IIRC when makkari used the technique to beat the runner, only the runner was at normal speed (as the rest of the universe was stone cold frozen) and he was able to reverse it on makkari which leads one to believe he had no real reason not to use the ultimate speed technique. almost like he was lying or something

buried alien looked exactly like the sentry but he had the flash's costume on, just torn up (from the events in coie obviously)
