Spidey sense is a proximity sorta thing, the attack doesn't have to be directly aimed at him for it to activate, it just has to be close. Also, it works especially well when he is expecting danger. Unless Venom, Kraven or someone like that is apart of this group trying to kill the kid, nothing they do is gonna catch him off guard.
Good point about the spider sense. But doesn't it only apply to danger targeting him? I can't remember when he's used it to sense danger on other ppl.

Also, I'm assuming without the use of most standard equipment for number 4. Otherwise, Batman would just get the batjet and fly the kid away.
Originally posted by Q99Hmmm, true about the swinging, though not entirely 'cause there are structures around, Afghanistan isn't just a big open field. Also, Parker's webbing makes for a much more potent weapon than what Cap has. Eh, either one is a good choice, i picked Parker due to spidey-sense and being able to do more while protecting someone. Cap's shield only protects from one side, if there's fire coming from multiple angles he's screwed.
Capt's really good at protecting people with his shield, though, and Parker really doesn't have any place to swing around
Originally posted by MshinuOP said nothing about PIS being on. That wouldn't happen 'cause Parker wouldn't ignore the spidey-sense like he did in that panel. And yeah, you're right, it's not like Spidey has fought off much more dangerous people while protecting someone. There is nothing Cap can do in this kind of situation, that Spidey can't do just as well, if not better.
Sure, send the teenage nerd with no military training into Afghanistan to escort & protect a child against the Taliban...But he gots the infallible spider sense right?
