Being smarter has nothing to do with it.RKT has many ways of defeating him depending on which gem he has.Still thanos 6/10.

being intelligent with a gem makes all the difference here.

It means you are all knowing. And omnipresent means everywhere at once.

That Thor's not omniscient because he had no shown knowledge of events which would transpire years later in an new volume of his ongoing whose creative team wasn't even assembled yet?

That's stretching just a bit, imo.

It's stated by narration that his knowledge pierces the veil of time, that the runes know the future of every creature and thing, and how he can now guide the future. He sees every deed seen or unseen, sees beyond the physical, mineral, cosmic structure in the universe, etc.

He saw everything at once and his role in the things to come. We, the reader don't know what he saw, but Thor did. That's the whole point.

he wasn't all knowing. You really think he knew every secret in the universe and was on an ig level of awareness?

It said he was on panel and broke down everything he saw beyond. Man, animal, molecules, the cosmos, past, present, future, etc. I don't know how else you'd interpret it.

If he saw the future then he would know what was going to occur to him which he didn't so there you go.

But he did see the future. He saw his role as destroyer and creator. And he did it anyway to give his people one final honorable Ragnarok. Just because the comic didn't show us something that wasn't thought out several years in advance for his return is no reason to assume he didn't become omniscient when we're told he is. He even refused to go through with the plan to bring about Asgard's death.

I'm just going by what the comic, which I'm looking at right now, is giving me.

I don't think he was even close to knowing everything about the universe by any means.
