A weird proposal.....

My coworker called me earlier from work to tell me Happy Birthday. Light skinned black chick, 24, hot as fiendfyre, we've been friends for like six years. Anyway, we start chatting and she asks about my love life. I tell her I am single and not looking, trying to focus on my career and college in the fall.

So then, out of the blue, she said "Hey, if, when I turn 26, we are both single, would you mind helping me out with something?"

So I said "Sure, you are my homey, if you need anything just ask."

She had to go at that point, her business line started ringing. I thought no more of it, figured she'd tell me next time I see her.

Well, then a mutual friend called me, she was all in 007 mode. She said "Dude, I was talking to her earlier, she said when she turns 26, she wants to get pregnant. She wants to stay single, but have a child. She's gonna asks you to impregnate her."

............I don't know what to feel...On one hand, I am ha-som because we are gonna bansex , but on the other I am eeek because what if I get attached to the kid? I know the child will be well cared for, she has rich parents. I dunno, I'm just a bit weirded by it.

More weird than cool.

I was facetious.

You might need to look that word up.

haermm

K.

Stfu RJ. Aint no one letting you impregnate no one.

if this story were to be true i will stop it. Trust me. I will stop it.

That crossed my mind. I'll know tomorrow when I see her, she's buying me a birthday lunch.

I pray to God it's a prank they pulled on you.

I mean, he's all excited for getting sex in two years. It would be too awesome.

How do you know that she will not just have you go to a clinic and jack in a closet? Artificial insemination could be what she is talking about.

Note: I didn't read the other post. It seems that someone else already came up with this.

Presuming for a moment that this story is real, and it's not a prank, etc. etc. (I'm suspending some of my inherent OTF disbelief for the sake of a point), I actually get the whole "more weird than cool" thing. It's easy, cliche even, to have a metaphorical (or literal) high five or fist bump when you hear about this with another guy. Or, for more common examples, like having a threesome or no-attachment sex (with or without kid). That's the Holy Grail, right?

Sort of. When you're actually the one going through it, you realize there's actually a lot of pressure and/or responsibility, or at least weirdness, involved with it. Jerry Seinfeld had an amusing rant on his show about a potential threesome to a similar affect, and he couldn't follow through with it. And I get that. A detached perspective means nothing to one who is actually dealing with the possibility of it, because the cultural (and probably genetic) zeitgeist dictates that we wholeheartedly encourage it.

...

Besides, a hot girl with 2 years to get knocked up. There's no chance she makes it there without finding somebody. Even in hte most amusing scenario for RJ here, this is never happening.

Oh, and pics or gtfo.

😐

She's got a plan, like a 5 year plan, a 10 year plan, she has it all planned out. She seems to think 26 is the perfect age to get pregnant.

I dunno. And yeah, weird. She and I fooled around a few months ago, but we didn't go all the way. Felt VERY weird going back to work with her.

**** this, I can't be a part to this. I hope she's OK with that.

Best to say no

I just did.

You txtd her?
