For the most part, they don't. Haven't heard of too many people that do. Waaaaay more people hate Liu Lame IMO.

I don't know about that. I've seen some people on message boards saying they want to see Liu Kang.

As for Johnny Cage, I don't recall people hating him, especially on this site.

One character I recall people hating is Stryker. He's not one of my favorites, but I never really understood the hatred for him.

Stryker is awesome, love his combos as well, the two elbows in face and then police stick to knock up in air and then do the "flying police stick" just before enemy lands was always fun to do heh

Because a goofy-looking character with a gun and grenades doesn't fit in with a cast of martial artists, sorcerors, elemental ninjas, and monster-like humanoids.

He's not really goofy looking if ya ask me.

A gun? Jax has a machine gun as a special move. 😬 Grenades? Cyrax and robot Smoke have those too. Stryker fits in just fine.

Not sure if this was sarcasm, but I was talking about as a regular move. He didn't have this in MKT, MKDA, and MKA.
