Man, I am so glad they're doing this. The OG seriess are going back to the classic route cuz back in those days, fighters were good becuase they did what they were meant to do. All these stupid ass bells and whistles added over time are what ruined it all.
Phuck, the create a character and overly long and deep story, just give me a good ass fighting game, and MK9 looks like it's gonna deliver. This'll be the 1st MK I've bought and owned since Deadly Alliance

Usually, the more story driven the fighting game, the more the gameplay suffers, usually. Sorta what Sats just said. I think you can have a decent story without having it be the main force behind the game.
There better be a list of finishers and tells which buttons to use because I have been so annoyed by not knowing what they are. In each MK game I've played and have my opponents staring off into space, I keep mashing a bunch of buttons at random to unlock the finisher but before I can know what it is, my opponent falls to the ground and it's over. This makes me want to throw my controller at the TV.

As for the link you posted, can't decide on whether I like Scorpion's Deception mask or MKvsDC mask better mmm, but the MK9 one makes him look kinda old or something. His Deadly Alliance mask is kinda bland now looking back, but the rest of that costume is still awesome looking. I think that costume combined with his MKD or MKvsDC mask would be great.
This game could honestly wind up being better than the last few SFs, Tekkens, & KOFs we've gotten.
