if so that is one hell of an international crime..
illegal confiscation of nukes, violation of sovereignty, treason to his country of origin plus iirc he also made himself world leader..
so hard to keep track of supes and his adventures so many regularly occurring retcons almost annually when it comes to him

You might be talking about Superman King of the World. Haven't seen the comic in ages but I remember Superman declared martial law with his Superman robot army on Metropolis and most of the largest urban centers in the world, essentially becoming King of the world.
But iirc he was manipulated by Dominus, multi-reality bad guy.

That may/may not be breaking moral law, not necessarily commiting an illegal action. Unless there is some kind of intergalactic ruling body which has strict stipulation, murder is one human killing another, technically an alien cannot commit such a crime.
It's really splitting hairs though and just reminding us how bad the legal system can be in the MU.
