I'm also going to mention that the entire group was in better shape when Shane was in charge. Shane kept everybody alive throughout the apocalypse with minimal deaths. Hell, Shane was the only reason Rick survived to see the apocalypse lol. Then Rick comes along, and majority of the main cast (including his wife) gets phucking brutally murdered, and and those alive barely survive each season. LOL at you guys thinking Ricks been successful. The Governor was more successful for a longer period of time leading an entire town, and shit only fell apart because of Rick and his group.
