Bit of a theme with this show. Once a character's arc feels complete, they tend to get killed. Probably since if there's no drama left to milk, they're just taking up space, so may as well milk an emotional death. Carol's going through it; she started as meek, became resilient, became ruthless, is now questioning her ruthlessness. Soon as she finishes that off she's getting whacked. Morgan too, with his pacifist thing--introduced as capable, turns crazy, crazy cured, goes pacifist, questioning it. Happened to Beth too, sorta. Same with Andrea. Happened to... tonight's victim
Spoiler:. Happened to the blonde doctor lady with the arrow through the head. Completed arcs=death sentence. So Rick will always be transitioning.

Originally posted by RobtardGovernor would beat the life from Negan. Negan really is kind of weak. Beating two defenseless people with barbed wire bats isn't impressive. Let's see how Negan fares in unarmed combat against Rick. We all know the Governor was a moment away from killing Rick until that skank interfered.
Great villain, truly one sadistic POS mixed in with practicality. Should make for a good season. Negan already shits all over the dud that was the Governor.

^ 👆And Negan's character *should* become even better-rounded as the season progresses. His 'rules' can be pretty f*cked, but as long as you abide by them he really IS pretty reasonable.

Am expecting J.D. Morgan to really flesh out the character in the coming weeks. Rather excited for this season.
