If we dismiss characters like Shane, Dawn, Joe and possibly a few others, yes.

Hell no they should've killed him and died with some honor.
**** neegan

I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but swallow it, you most certainly will.

I've enjoyed this show from the start; it's had its ups and downs no doubt, but Negan's looking like the best villain so far and a great villain is what makes a movie or show like this.
👆

The Governor appeared in several episodes across multiple seasons. In all that time he never made an impact on the group as a whole(esp. Rick) like Negan just did in a single episode. It's already clear who is superior.

So the governors actions when he attacked the prison didn't impact Rick or the entire group ? The Governor was a force and anyone denying that in favor of their obvious Negan bias isn't being objective. Governor would kick the shit out of Negan in a hand to hand fight as well. Let's see how tough Negan is without a gun against Rick.

😉

Negan had Rick at his complete mercy due to his massive army. I guess any sick ruler with a massive army while having someone at their complete is not amazing it is to be expected.

Yeah, Governor even when in a position of power like Negan was/is never brought abject terror to Rick and co. They never really feared him like they do Negan.

The Governor's initial semblance of formidably as a villain was just an illusion and he turned out to be a complete imbecile by the end of his run, he had a chance to be in the prison like he wanted and remain leader of his people like he wanted, yet he threw that away and ended up dead like the loser he is.

I don't know about you, but I don't find imbecilic losers to be interesting.

So let's delve into this deeper. You missed the part at the end where Rick acknowledges he has an army. That's a huge pivotal point you seem to completely gloss over. So you're saying Rick is so utterly scared in a one on one fair fight he wouldn't try to kill him ?

The Governor never had the sheer numbers Negan had. The governor also rose to power again in another group. He had ricks life's literally in his hands. He killed various members of the group and terrorized them and broke them at the prison. The Governor couldn't be reasoned with while Negan allowed an entire group of his men to be killed and still let them off easy with only one planned death. After Dar struck him that changed.

Cling to your Negan necause he isn't very impressive. He has an army and beats on bound people to death while taunting them. Governor would maul this former car salesman. He wouldn't buy what Negan was selling.

#facts

I called the first death. I just KNEW it would be them.

The second death was a complete gut punch.

And now we wait for Ezekiel and his cat, Shiva.

An awesome start.

Didn't the deaths happen the same way they did in the comic?

Finally....Someone asks the MOST IMPORTANT TWD Qeustion of them alll.....

Doing the Zombie Rag...

Nope, Glenn's kind of followed it but tbh I didn't quite like it.

And another TWD question....Were the "Wolves that were attacking Alexandria, were they a part of Negan's group? And was Tiger King guy happening at the same time as Neg too?

They're entirely non-canon.

Shortly after Negan made his full appearance, Kingdom was introduced, yes.

Does anyone think Daryl's kinda to blame for Glenn's death in the show's case, since he went and punched Negan?

I think it was made clear it was his fault and he knew it.

I know they weren't in the comic but I meant in the show.

Good question. Thought about it, too. Possibly they were, yeah.

Nah, Negan has made it known that he wants as many people as possible from other communities to *survive* so that they can work for him... The Wolves were all about killing everyone they came across.

Totally conflicting ideologies, there.
