^ You'd think if Rick already knew about Lori being pregnant, he would have said: "I know. Jenner told me. You're a whore."

Meh, we'll know soon enough me thinks.

Great episode. The show is starting to surprise me now.

And I know people get whats coming from reading these threads before they watch latest eps, back can people try to use the SPOILER tags when announcing deaths of major characters. 2 in 2 weeks 😂

I wonder how true to the comic it will be. Some of the prison scenes are too gruesome.

Agreed about the spoilers.

Ugh... I guess I need to get on it and catch up on the show. I still haven't watched any of the second part of season 2. 😛

what exactly are you referring to?

I don't remember anything gruesome.

Michonne did some f*cked up shit to the Governor during The Prison arc, iirc.

Well there was what happened to-

Spoiler:
Lori and the baby - Governor torture - TDog's execution - Michonne's raping.

Did u mean Tyresse? TDog is not in the comic.

i didn't read the comics, but guts getting ripped out, people being shot and shit like that has been shown since the very first episode...

TDog's... wut? 😐 I thought he was a tv show character only.

I also thought they didn't actually show what happened to Michonne; and was

Spoiler:
the death of Lori and her baby any more gruesome than what happened to Dale in the tv show?

This show has True Blood level gore. It's probably the most violent, non-premium cable show ever. I doubt anything in the comic, save for

Spoiler:
the penis cutting and maybe the eye scooping
is too graphic to be shown on tv.

Oh yeah Tyresse 😕 😄 similar names.

Spoiler:
Though Tyresse was an awesome character and his death was shocking.

I think the gore when it comes to the the zombie takedowns is worse than True Blood though I stopped watching it by the 3rd season. Maybe it got pretty graphic.

And when it comes to Michonne sometimes what you don't see is as bad as seeing it.

People consider the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre to be brutal and want it banned but the film didn't actually show you much gore at all. It was all in the execution. Same goes for the famous Psycho shower scene...nothing was actually seen but it left everybody shocked.

There are MUCH more gruesome movies than the original TCM...like all it's remakes, for one.

Also, none of that stuff is gruesome. Maybe I'm desensitized.

skullphucking corpses will do that to a person.

That was my point. Those two films TCM and Psycho showed nothing yet left everyone shocked.

How long are you gonna bring this up?

I bought you an eye patch, we are even.

I don't see your point.

It isn't 1970 anymore.

Yeah but the comics and the events I was talking about The Prison Saga and the events that happened during were writen in the last 8 years.
Some of the worst moments didn't show anything. But they were as memorable and shocking as the more graphical in in your face ones. I used Psycho and TCM as examples of cinema using such tactics in the past. Obviously.

If you need a more recent film using the same skill Resovoir Dogs torture scene with the cop is another example.

You responded with those films not being graphic at all. With has nothing to do with the point I originally made.

Rick's too passive aggressive, he might have constantly mumbled it under his breath when ever Lori was just out of ear shot though... 😎

I fail to see the point you are trying to make.

It's not 1990 anymore.
