-Alexandria is the closest thing to pre-Walker life the group will have. Hell, it is still a well-established colony in the current TWD comics.
-Rick might eventually prove to be the best leader for the colony.

Though with no showers or toothbrushes I couldn't imagine any sex being more than the act. Being a gay couple would be even worse. There's no way I'd even think of open mouth kissing a girl, let alone the more "involved" foreplay in the zombie apocalypse.
